halo 4 forge ideas

share your ideas for halo 4 forge here. some of my ideas are: elephant that can be forged on, pelican, phantom, scarab, dead bodies, blood, weapon ammo, doors that open when you walk up to them, civilian vehicles, transport warthog and falcon, falcon with turrets you can remove and change, security camera, windows, customizeable skybox, and different forge skins. those are just some of my ideas, please share your forge ideas POLITELY. no trolling.

Halo 4 Forge should have:

  • Terrain Editor like Far Cry 2
  • UNSC Ships like Frigates and Cruisers ( Same with Covenant) and MAC cannons and Glassing is possible.
  • Skyscrapers from Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach
  • Blood and Dead Bodies
  • AI ( Covenant, Flood, Humans, Civilians and Spartans and what ever the new enemies are in Halo 4)
  • Destroyed Objects like blown up Scorpion Tanks
  • Themes eg. Flood infested place for infection games
  • New Explosives (Landmines and Fusion Cores) adding nukes into forge
  • Weapons mentioned throughout the Halo Universe eg. MA2B Assault Rifle, MA5K AR, C-12 High Explosive etc.
  • Weather changing
  • The map for editing should be at least 5x bigger than Forge World :smiley:

Any name ideas for this map?

Basically everything above plus (im sorry if someone said this but I didn’t see) destroyed and crashed vehicles.

Halo 4 NEEDS the following stuff for Forge 3.0:

Skinnable Objects
For example, blocks that can have the following skins:

  • Rocky
  • Grassy
  • Forerunner (like almost everything in Reach)
  • Jungle (yellowish Stone with leaves, like Ghost Town from Halo 3)
  • Snowy (Avalanche from Halo 3)
  • Sandy (Sandbox from Halo 3)

Daytime Setting

  • Morning
  • Afternoon
  • Evening
  • Midnight

Weather Effects
This would be awesome with both indoor and outdoor maps.
Combine this with Nighttime in an indoor environment and Storm and you have the perfect creepy Zombie map.

  • Rain (with intensity slider)
  • Storm (with lightning, intensity slider)
  • Snow (with intensity slider)
  • Fog (with intensity slider)

My idea for a Halo 4 forge world: An entire white, blank, flat canvas. You can choose what background you want your forge world to have, possibly in the form of an effects orb, you have the grassy Halo like the current forge world, covenant home world, Earth, apacolyptic Reach, maybe others. A terrain editor to add hills, mountains, cliffs, valleys, even water. And a weather editor, you could make it sunny, rainy, snowy, stormy, or even covenant glass apocolypse complete with glowing red and black snowing ash.

Here are my ideas for forgeable and usable vehicles: Scarab, pelican, phantom, longsword, seraph, space banshee, elephants, civvy cars, civvy trucks (If you ripped off a human turret you can mount it on the back like Jorge), civvy semis, Moa (for comical and machinima reasons mostly).

I think it would be cool to have a forge world or skybox like Delta Halo and blocks that look similar to the structures on Delta Halo, I like the look of the ruins: http://images.wikia.com/halo/images/1/14/Ruins1600.jpg

Also we should be able to have busted up version of all blocks, like the grey ones in Forge World we should have busted up versions of them so we can make ruins.

I would much rather have alot of other things than pointless elephants.

A terrain editor. Also, you know how Reach has those teleporter barrier zones around teleporters, and when you enter it you teleport? And how you can edit the size of it in forge? Well I was thinking why not have other barriers which effect certain areas? The ones I was thinking of were gravity barriers which cause a change in gravity when entered, fx barriers which mean special fx are only active in certain areas, and powerup barriers which give players who enter it different traits much like the custom powerup.

I’m all in for this one! definatly going for weather and textures, those are my biggies on Forge 3.0

The ability to make maps on the PC and import them.

I hope 343 doesn’t weenie out and make dead bodies and blood seem bad. If its rated -Yoinking!- M, it can have tat stuff.

Ladders, not in any matchmaking maps though.
