I think I speak for most of the halo community when I say, 343 industries, please do not limit what you can do in forge. The budget should be non existent, and there shouldn’t be a limit to what we can build. I’m going to write a letter to 343 expressing this, please share your ideas here. Thank you.

Before you go about saying you speak for the community, I suggest you do some research into why there is a budget limit. 343i has given us a very large forge budget, yes it’s not unlimited, but this isn’t minecraft, or Gmod, this is Halo, different engine, different set up, different limitations. 343i isn’t trying to limit the community with what they can do in Forge, they’ve been working on ways to do away with most of the limitations that was in Halo 3 and Halo Reach, which is a step in the right direction.
Thank you for your post, with this in mind I will just sit back and see what happens.

Also, welcome to Waypoint’s forums, and you kind of posted in the wrong forum board for this kind of topic, this topic should of gone into the Halo 4 forum board, not the polling booth, the Polling booth is more of a “Here’s a place where you can post polls”.
Actually for once I agree with something posted… kind of. I agree with removing the cap but still keep a “recommended budget” meter that lets you know when you are approaching the limit that the game can handle before frame rate, textures, etc. begin to suffer. I can say this, I have played on forge world with a limit break map and overall it ran fine, despite it having enough walls to completely cover the water on the entire map. But from far away (in a falcon) they look like a christmas display, lighting up at random as the textures vanish in order to texture another wall. However, if used properly maps can be made with more items than the game will allow with zero side affects. This I have seen with my own eyes.
