Much like the play station vita where you can play the game through your ps3 then continue with the vita. If the technology was there to play the full Halo 4 on a tablet and mobile device would you? Obviously touch screen wouldn’t work so this is under the assumption of having a Xbox controller that connects to either device.
I’m happy just playing it on my Xbox. I think halo is a game to be played on a big screen
I’m sure there is a lot of potential for tech like ‘Smartglass’ to enhance Halo’s gameplay experience. It all depends on how tablets and mobiles are implemented into the gameplay- as long as they aren’t mere gimmicks.
A quick example of an arguably nifty feature would be, say for instance you’re on a planet where, for some odd reason, your visor’s protection is compromised and you need to shield your eyes and need a filter to protect your retinas from melting! You could use your mobile or tablet to act as said filter whilst the actual tv screen is a big blur or bright white light etc.
Or how about this; imagine playing MP and your smart phone/tablet acts as a small shield. You’re in a firefight and someone fires a rocket at you. Your doom is inevitable but then, you quickly grab your phone/tablet (somehow synced with your console/tv) and hold it out in front of you, saving your life.
Also how about objectives in MP that require you to hack a terminal and with a specific minigame on the tablet/phone, you can get a distinct advantage. Other spectators at your house can help you too greatly improving your chances.
No? I’ll grab my coat then…

These are some crazy ideas. I actually like two of the three you mentioned. The mini-game one is very good idea. The visor idea is kinda cool. The shield is over the top in my opinion. Thanks for the comments.
No i dont think i would like it on such devices,
I’m happy for Halo to stay on my Xbox and having the Halo Waypoint app on my mobile/tablet devices.
