Having started playing videogames and FPS on PC and really only owning a Xbox for Halo and other exclusives I know many including myself would like to see a PC port(A quality one) of Halo 4 and possibly other future Halo titles if possible. Despite the obvious advantages of playing on a PC which I wont go into detail on, I think Microsoft and 343 are really missing out on a untapped fanbase for Halo that started to develop with the ports of Halo and Halo 2 but many felt the ports were not as quality(H2 especially) as they could have been, and H3+Reach as we all know were not given the same treatment as their predecessors so we will never know what could of become of them. Halo being more of an oldschool FPS and simplistic in style than say CoD, would appeal to the PC crowd more as well which is comprised of veteran gamers of all genres. I know many people who like Halo and will buy it for the single player, but simply due to the fact that the newer versions are not on their platform of choice specifically the multiplayer they dont get much replay value out of it or simply are uninterested in the series because it is Xbox exclusive.
Id like to think video games as big as Halo being exclusive are a thing of the past,as we see D3 is being considered for console as well as CS:GO I think it would be very beneficial to Halo 4 to do the same and port to the PC.
I know it would mean alot to all the PC gamers/Dual platform gamers like myself out there if H4 was ported to the PC and only good things could come from doing so!! So who else supports this notion?
