Hey Guys and Girls,
I wanna start by saying I have lost my temper at this game more than once, Iv felt let down and disappointed like many fans out there but I have also seen many positives. What I want to do with this thread is share those positives with the rest of the community and see what other people have enjoyed in this game.
The best thing about halo 4 for me was the story, both campaign and spartan ops. I remember waiting week after week trying to guess what was going to happen with spartan ops. During the launch week I went down from Scotland to England to spend my first campaign play though with my friend that I have been playing online with since halo 2. These are great gaming moments for me and really do make me grateful for the game!
I’m also grateful that 343 have not given up on halo 4. When ever there has been a problem 343 have done what they can to fix it and although its not the halo game I want in terms of multiplayer I have to admit the continued support from 343 and changes they have made to the game should be seen as a very positive thing.
Halo has been a great part of my life for over 10 years now. I read all the books. I have spent countless hours looking into every possible angle of the stories told. I collect the halo mega blocks stuff just because I think it looks cool. Halo has brought me closer to friends and helped me forge new friendships. It started my life on xboxlive.
These are all positive things that halo has done and I count halo 4 within that. So please share your positive thoughts on halo 4 or any of the halo games.

I like that they have made steps to save the game. But unfortunately, they do not have the open arms that I felt bungie had. I could send a message to anyone on the staff and would get a reply. Bungie communicated with us about everything. Remember the beat down update? They wrote a page of a post explaining what was happening and what they were changing. 343 does not do the same. They also don’t enjoy the community, with a closed API and halowaypoint stats not being up to par they are not really giving anyone a chance to make something that could help the game which bungie was open to. They also closed of all the basic stats so you have to be logged in to see them. they also made it impossible to force a login. I feel let down the most by there actions.
They need to make a whole new forums section for these kinda posts, they’re starting to become 1 of the only kind of threads I see on the halo 4 forums…
Hang in there motivational posters aside, It’s nice that they are trying to fix the issues they made, but too many have been ignored or said unable to fix for ,me to take 343 seriously…
Campaign theater mode, weapon skins in spartan ops, and a lacking in custom games and forge modes being good examples…

I don’t really understand how you can call this a blindly positive post. I even mentioned things I were unhappy with in the original post.
