My idea is that for halo 4, there should be like a type of endless survival flood mode with its own little story, think about it like call of duty zombies but with flood. that would be pretty cool.
yea that would be cool
people be mature and don’t flame this guy
This idea has been thrown alot here.

this has been posted a million times. First firefight, then MP infection, then Zombies. I think zombies on halo is too far, but infection with playabe flood and firefight with flood waves are good ideas.
check out mine because it brings this idea and everyone else’s into one http://halo.xbox.com/Forums/yaf_postst55932_Halo-4-s-Firefight-mode-3-0.aspx

I hope nothing like COD’s Zombie mode ever infects Halo. I gave it a shot, several times, and hated it every time.
Now, I would not mind a flood Firefight mode. That would be cool.
I’ve stated it before, and I will again.
Flood in Firefight, as it stands, makes NO. SENSE.
Think about it. First off, Firefight will already need to be redone. It worked in Reach because the Covenant still existed, and were the bad guys. Now that the Great Schism has happened, you aren’t going to see Elites and Brutes fighting on the same team. I’d be inclined to say you wouldn’t even find Elites fighting Humans. Let alone where the Jackals (and Skirmishers, or are we just going to pretend that they all disappeared…again?) Hunters, and such take sides.
So we’re already at a loss for a few baddies. Sure, we’ll probably get some kind of new enemy, but its not like dropships are just going to be dropping in Forerunners or Precursors to fight alongside Ex-Covies against you.
Now try throwing Flood in with that. Flood AI would not be friendly with anyone or anything besides itself. Can you see where this causes problems?
Fact is, no one is even sure how they’re going to be able to incorporate Firefight into Halo 4. I, for one, would not be surprised to see its exclusion entirely. This would mean 343 would need to replace it with something worthwhile, which is where I believe the Flood would fall into place.
Unfortunately for some, I believe that a new Flood gametype mode thingy would be heavily influenced by Zombies. Of course, they’ll put their own Halo-spin on it, and engineer it to fan standards, but face it. Gears did it. COD did it. You can bet Halo will catch on too.
I actually REALLY want that…
Just hope it’s more unique and fitting into Halo than “Magic Boxes” and stuff like that.
Flood Firefight, I want it SO bad!

Flood could easily work in Firefight as it stands. Have you seen Gears of War 3’s Horde Mode. They have 2 types of enemies that will fight each other and the player. It’s actually a lot of fun.
Now, Firefight is sure to return, especially with it’s popularity. Who cares if the enemies don’t make sense, canonically? Firefight should be about the fun.
I just wanna fight flood on human vehicles. That was pretty insane in Halo 2.

ya it was fun lambent and locust. also flood are going to be in halo 4 like it or not its what halo thrive around. odst adn reach didnt have it because they didnt come into contact but flood are all over the place even the shield worlds. also it doesnt have to be realistic i mean its sci-fi seriously check my firefight 3.0 idea out.

I really hope he is banned! If I had the power I would ban him right now!
A brief reminder for everyone to stay on topic. I’m sure OP would appreciate feedback on their ideas.
Yea dude, trust me alot of people would like it.
A wave type game that used flood.
Flood Firefight?
I like it.
Flood FireFight would be a great idea and I also think that you should be able to fight with spartans in firefight in halo 4.
ya and also the marines or fellow spartan players can be infected aswell, that would be cool and you can play as the flood also.
