Halo 4 Flood infections picture thoughts

So … What do you think about the flood look?

No more triple red antenna things or hanging dead head things… I don’t know what to think

I like both designs, the old and the new. Just different artistic pov.

I think that they had to make allowances for Multiplayer gameplay: they couldn’t add an Infection Form or a ton of extra dead appendages to the Infected Spartan model because those features would change the hitbox too drastically, and perhaps offer a misleading target for headshots.

I don’t think it indicates anything about the art direction that 343i’ll take when they design the Flood for Halo 5 or 6.

I vote for this vote of another persons answer!

I like the old flood look better, but we have never seen an infected spartan and its not too shabby.

I like these better. The old Flood forms were too over-the-top, in my opinion. These look like they were specifically crafted to be combat effective, like how the Flood in Primordium would alter Forerunners.

Has anyone ever wondered these flood could just me more evolved. Maybe the enhanced sight replaced their antenna. It is a good thought seeing that it has been 5 years and Requiem might be holding a more developed flood type.

I love the new flood

They have a re-skinned energy sword so whats not to love

These aren’t more evolved flood they’re a computer program on the infinity for the spartans to train against.

same here… new company= total change i like it.

I haven’t had a good enough look at them because all the pics I’ve seen have been poor camera shots.

Anyone got a decent quality picture of them?

Still not sure. I’m trying not to hate on it. When I 1st saw I really thought it was fake.

Makes perfect sense to me.

I think the keeping of the Head and lack of antenna are a sign that they are well developed Combat forms that do not require as much base Infection form integration. Similar to the Pure forms, even though they have the antenna, they do have “heads” and evolved attacking limbs, So I do not think it is too absurd for them to be able to get rid of the antenna.

or this is simply the UNSC’s interpretation of what an infected spartan would look like, because remember, this is still just a simulation on the Holodeck.

I like the design, although it’s very different, but as someone said earlier it’s most likely like that to keep simplicity in the game itself.

Still think that the “real” flood will be different and closer to what they have been, if they reappear.

I could be wrong but aren’t Spartan immune to the Flood? At least Johnson was.

I think they look great, even though they don’t look too much like traditional Flood. The one thing that I keep wondering about though is… “Why so serious?”

Memory Man

I prefer how they looked like in the previous games. But I realize that gameplay and artistic limitations will have prevented that, sadly enough. However I am ultimately pleased with 343i decision to include the Flood into multiplayer.

I like the way they look, scary, fast, agile, threatening, foreign, I don’t like it, and that’s why I like it.
