The games threw me out 3 times in big team battle on xbox, the game just breaks
Hey all, I’m on xbox here, maybe it’s just my imagination but I feel as if they played model collision physics aren’t quite Right. I find myself getting dragged by teammates quite a bit
A lot of people in the Halo 4 community would love to experience a Halo 4 4v4 Ranked playlist and I can be positive that everyone will enjoy it
As someone who’s experiencing Halo 4 for the first time, I can’t find anything wrong with the flight so far.
So because I’m unfamiliar with the controls; and I’ve been playing on the Boxer layout since H2, my only gripe is that we need full controller layout remapping.
I’ve been using Steam’s controller config to swap some buttons around but that makes menu navigation confusing, and inconsistencies between games.
Also, since I also play MP on M&K, I think having control layouts for each game is pretty annoying. Perhaps revamping the control binding settings to be on a single page, e.g,

I liked it but on Requiem where the Elephant goes along the map, sometimes, it doesn’t load the proper section of the map and just has the elephant floating.
I was playing some BTB and the sound was bugged it was like i was under water xD , i restarted the game and didn’t fix anything 
I hope I don’t jinx this but I have been having a great time with Halo 4. Halo 4 feels really good on PC- it looks and runs better than on Xbox. I would even go as far as to say that Halo 4 is my favorite title in MCC (that doesn’t mean it’s my favorite Halo game). The shot registration and gunplay feels really good. Maybe it’s just the server region selection. It isn’t like Halo 3 or Reach where every fight feels like a random roll of the dice.
I do have some feedback:
- I was hoping crossplay would improve matchmaking times. I can get into games but there is still a wait.
- I hope crossplay supports PvE in the final game. Crossplay is an awesome feature.
- The UI is janky and cluttered now with all of the settings available in the game. I am not expecting this for the Halo 4 launch, but I really think sometime the UI should be thrown out and redone. I’d like the main menu/ UI to resemble Halo 3’s or Reach’s.
- I would like an option to control the intensity of/ disable the HUD bobbing in Halo 4. I don’t mind HUD bobbing in general but it is way too crazy in Halo 4 and makes me nauseous when playing with keyboard and mouse.
- When Halo 4 launches, I think Regicide should be a featured mode. I would kind of like to have a regicide option in the match composer- I really liked regicide in og Halo 4.
- I think we should have per game crosshair options.
I’d very much appreciate adding the option to disable some effects like motion blur. The motion blur in particular makes me want to puke in Halo 4.
UI feedback for armor customization:
- Some armors are categorized such as air assault variants while others such as Warrior just have the two variants in the main list. This feels unorganized. I’d prefer the Reach way where everything is categorized with variants or just everything in the list but the mix is inconsistent and looks bad. - Also can we get an option to apply skins to Legendary BR settings? This is what I’ll be playing the majority of the time for Halo 4 so applying the skins to this game type would be welcome.

So far the Campaign is good. However, there is one critical aspect that we missed. Where the hell is the flashlight button? From all the games itself, only Halo 4 that I’ve tested so far does not feature a flashlight button. In Halo 3: ODST, it was compensated with a VISR button, but from all the halo games I’ve been playing and flighting, only Halo 4 that does not feature any kind of flashlight. - The balance was good enough but at some point, the Pelican is just way too op with Autocannon. It rips Phantom like under half the time it needs to be eliminated with a laser attack. - I haven’t tried co-op yet, I do hope it can feature crossplay. - The last thing is, I need Bandanna for more fun or at least a fun mode game.Spartan Ops:

The spawn point is not exactly at your safe zone as you may spawn in the hornet’s nest should you died. I’d rather have a safe spawn zone so you won’t get whacked again and again. - Weapons’ disappearance rate is faster than the main campaign. It’s not a good one considering some players may want to loot such weapons later. I’ve wanted to loot Jackals Beam Rifle, but it was already disappeared. The time frame was like… 10 seconds, I think? It’s just too fast to disappear.
I ran into an error playing King of the Hill on Pitfall. A big white square was on my screen for where the hill was. The objectives were also listed as extraction points instead of hills.

Played some more campaign and multiplayer today. While I still dislike 4’s multiplayer, I can confidently say that it is running great on PC! No bugs encountered, no random FPS drops either. Haven’t tried co-op campaign yet though, so we’ll see.
Played a lot of multiplayer and Spartan Ops. It seems to be running very smoothly and I have not had any issues with controller on PC on this flight so far, except for day one patched issues.

i think the rail gun needs its charge speeded up right now in some modes its pretty worthless next to the rocket launcher
I can’t quite put my finger on it but something feels off with the BR when playing with mouse and keyboard, i consistently get 4 shot by most players, way more than in previous games and my ability to 4 shot seems less consistent than in previous games. As someone who played very little halo 4 on Xbox when it came out I can’t comment on exactly why it feels so off but I thought i would make my concerns known in case other players with more experience from both sides can she more light on it.
Can you guys add an actual rank mode for H4 in competitive, like legendary slayer with only the br and maybe no minimap. No loudouts, no ordinance, no armor abilities and perks, no btb maps, just straight br.
When entering in the Season 1(Halo: Reach) items list to unlock them, there are some helmets that are too dark in the edges.
Using centered crosshair, the medal text popups are directly in the crosshair and decreases visibility

(I know it’s not technically just halo 4, it’s something more global for the collection)
*addicional info: It would be useful to be able to modify the volume of the music, sound effects and voices. Personally, I miss those options of the halo 2 pc port, I don’t know how complicated it would be to implement that? Personally, it is sometimes difficult for me to hear the voices in halo ce next to the music at full volume or that in halo 2 in classic graphics the music is heard too low I don’t know how niche this request is, but I suppose I don’t lose much by asking.
