Hey guys. I was talking with my friends the other day and they told me that they have never played halo 2 or halo combat evolved. This got me thinking about how 343 could bring people back up to scratch with the current halo story. this could be in the form of flashbacks while the chief is in cyro. this could be flashbacks that take players back to the battle for new mombasa and portray johns struggle to fight off the covenant from the human city. Or take you back to the fight for the pillar of autumn to show players what john was thinking about and how he came to be there. in my opinion, i think these sorts of flashbacks at the start of the game will allow players who have not played or have forgotten the story of the previous halo’s can get up too speed with whats going on.
As i said its only my idea but what do you guy’s think? i think it would be nice to visit some halo 1,2 and 3 locations with the new graphics.

Actually, it’s been confirmed that there will be a cutscene before the game starts that will catch newer players up that didn’t play the older Halos.
Though most of the newer fans should have played CE:A at least.
