Will halo 4 have firefight and will firefight have promethean in it
Nope, it’s replaced by SpartanOps, in which Prometheans will make an appearance.

With 50 episodes, i am sure there will be one that can be played like a FF match. Dont worry, once an episode is found that can be exploited to get maximum sp points it will be put out there and we will get all of the things we need to dress up our sparbie real nice.
I’d rather 343 also have Firefight in as well as Spartan Ops, what’s the point of taking it out? They’ve had 3 years on this game, I’m sure they could’ve kept Firefight in and made some changes.
Tons of games have firefight like game modes. Spartan Ops is cooler, because it’s more content for us as well as the fact that it is unique to Halo.
Firefight was Bungie’s thing. 343 wanted to do there own thing

Spartan Ops is more of a rebranding of Firefight, similar to how they now call Matchmaking “Wargames”.
As said above, Spartan Ops will surely have some level that’s akin to Firefight.
If I remember correctly, there was an achievement for holding off waves of guys in Spartan Ops, so cross your fingers.
For all those of you out there saying Halo 4 is just stealing from other games… Spartan Ops is where I refer you too!
As for firefight it will be missed as I was a huge fan of it but it looks like it’s hatched into a fledgling co-op campaign mode… sigh they grow up so fast.

Spartan Ops is a cooperative mission series.
Every week you get a CG and 5 missions. These missions feature your Spartan (the one you create from multiplayer). Each mission follows a continuing story. This goes on for 10 weeks, where season 1 concludes after 50 missions.
Its like a cooperative second campaign sectioned like a tv series.
Oh, and you can play them solo, they’re just meant for co-op.
Imagine Firefight, mixed with Objectives, Story, Episodic-ness(?), Length I other Awesomeness. That is Spartan Ops.

The only good firefight was in ODST. Reach’s failed, hard. If you want to play some good firefight, go play ODST, that’s what I did a few weeks ago and it was really fun.
Spartan Ops is way better than Firefight. Sure it had there moments, but Spartan Ops will be a newer, and improved gameplay. Something Halo Fans will enjoy.

I think they made the right decision. To include Fire fight as well as Spartan ops would mean that they would have to design maps for MM, Spartan ops, and FF I think that’s asking too much.
