I’m shocked!
I’m glad no strong language!
No one ever would have guessed that it would have been rated M. (Sarcasm)
OH NO! MY MOMMY WILL NEVER LET ME PLAY THIS! I WANTED IT TO BE RATED E!!!
> I’m glad no strong language!
Has Halo ever had strong language? The most we’ve ever gotten was “damn”. I honestly don’t see the problem with strong language that so many people seem to have.
Mature isn’t a shocker. The ESRB council is a bit harsh against some titles, and more lenient with others.
The only way it could shock me is if it was rated below M.

Halo 2 and Reach both had the b word. (No I’m not afraid to say it, big brother won’t let me.)
Also, I could care less about language too personally.

we got the B word and the F word and a few others
Why are they afraid to add have adult language in the game its rated M for blood and violence, it would seem more organic and real (if written well at least) this is an adult game after all.

So did ODST if I am not mistaken. Buck said it to Romeo I believe.

Never knew. I’d prefer if we still had them though. Where did we get the B and F words?
Soldiers drop f-bombs all the time in real life. I don’t see why they couldn’t add a little more vulgar language to halo. not horrific, but you know.
I swear if I hear a marine say “gosh darn” or “well, shucks”, I can’t be held accountable for what I’m going to do.

I don’t cuss along with most of my family. I don’t see why cussing is required. I grew up with Halo, and I might have never had that privilege if it had a lot of cussing in it.

Lawl this made me laugh for quite a while XD
Yea since the d word and the sob saying are now actually more “normal” these days, well most people say them a lot more than they did a couple years ago, H4 still might have “medium language” in them to wich would be the d word and sob. But hooray for blood and violence!

Okay, how about you see a 7-foot tall blue, green giant lizard with split mandibles and a sword constructed of pure plasma charging at you.
Or you see a giant titanium robot-humanoid thing that’s a millennia more advanced than your greatest technological achievements shooting down your fellow friends, watching their charred corpses disintegrate.
“Well, darn.”

Doesn’t change the reality of the situation, that soldiers swear all the time. Helps with the immersion factor–not too much, but enough
But you’re saying that you were allowed to play a game about genocide filled with blood, gore and horrific monsters, but you might not have been allowed it if the game had a few select words in it?
IMO, I don’t see the big deal. They’re words, meaningless.

I would say something along the lines of “Son of a monkey’s uncle” (courtesy of TV movie censoring)
