Halo 4 "feel" Opinion.

I played Halo 4 and I just want to let you know 343i that I don’t like you.

I can honestly say I hit my breaking point after seeing that first quick time event in “Dawn”. You clearly lack any clue concerning the subtleties and brilliant nuances of game design.

You guys aren’t making a Halo sandbox at all. You are making a bastardized tasteless version of a halo game, completely ignoring brilliant gameplay and story telling elements.

There is a reason why Bungie’s original Halo series were some of the greatest games of all time, if you can’t take any lessons from them then may god have mercy on your souls.

There’s a difference between a critique and misguided raging. Opinions are cool, but not when they have nothing constructive to give.

Also, Bungie = Reach. Halo 4 = having elements from Reach. Seems like they’ve been learning. Just to offer you some antithesis- these are not my personal views- it’d be pointless to waste them on ya.

“wahhh he said something negative about the game, that must be him just raging for no reason whatsoever”

yeah okay.

I highly doubt that you have played Halo 4. Your post didn’t really offer any constructive feedback. Most people who have played it know how to voice their grievances. If you don’t like Halo 4, simple solution; Don’t buy it!

Where did you play the campaign? I thought it was only available to the press?

> /opinion

exactly. this is simply my opinion after playing the game.

I went in with high hopes. Sadly the developers weren’t able to deliver as well as i had hoped.

It’s not a bad game but then again it’s not exactly a “great” game.

Because Halo 3 had a great story, right? Just as good as the first 2? And what about Reach? Totally canonically accurate, right?

I agree that 343 is making some decisions that don’tmix with the Halo multiplayer AT ALL. They’re doing it to attract crowds from other franchises, and I don’t think that’s cool or fair to us at all.

But don’t bash on the storyline before you’ve played it. Because Bungie wasn’t perfect either.

it’s not the story itself, it’s how they tell the story.
story-telling is the term.

Where did you play at??? proof sir

I too would like to know this. Because right now, I’m really doubting that you’ve seen any more campaign than we have.

How do you some of you function being so opinionated? I am really curious.

Anyways, you didn’t like Halo 4’s Campaign and that’s fine. If you believed this was going to be a topic of great debate then i suggest scrap this thread and make a new topic.

SEEMS LEGIT

Flamebait.

lol This was closed to the press, so I’m assuming you’re trolling about how you “played the campaign”

I smell a troll.

> I smell a troll.

I smell a public restroom.

So yeah, a troll

Even if the OP is telling the truth – which I doubt, as I’m pretty sure that any hands-on Campaign demos would be closed to the press – this thread is clearly not headed in a constructive direction. Locking.
