Just because you don’t like Kinect doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be in there.
I can pretty much confirm that Kinect WILL be in Halo 4. All first party titles of Microsoft Studios HAVE to feature it in some way or another beginning this year.
That being said, it might only be used very little, look at the way it’s being used for Halo: Anniversary etc. It will NOT affect the core gameplay in any way. Plus, don’t like it. Don’t use it. Simple enough.
> Hello Community,

> The title says it all. Here, you guys can post all you opinions about Halo 4. These are my opinions:
> 1. FEAR KINECT Please 343 Industries, for all the love of Halo… Don’t let kinect come near Halo 4!!!
> 2. Bigger Forge World and/or forge budget.
> 3. More unique vehicles in Forge and custom games
> (Mainly Pelicans,Phantoms,Spectre,etc.)
> 4. The power to make custom FireFight maps.
> 5. The power to make cutsom maps where we can place friendly and enemy AIs.
> 6. The power to have more than 16 people in a game.

To some extent I agree but also disagree. They should implement it but it should never be mandatory or give any type of advantage in MP department. It will probably serve the same roll as what it currently does in CE (Analyze, reload, etc) and maybe be exclusive to campaign.
2.,Disagree, Forge World to me was a big waste of space which could have been used to develop genuine maps which played well. Arena Maps to BTB maps is what they should have done. Forged maps get boring just because they have the same theme. Green,Gray,Brown… yuk. They also don’t play well with the exception of a very few which were all based off the design of a remake. I would stick to giving a simple map like sandbox and the rest being developed by professionals devs.
Waste of room which could be used for more features, customization and maps. Plus playing on a map with 16 people plus those vehicles = LAG.
More waste of room and loads of time. They should go back and reevaluate why ODST FF was so popular and create that experience. Not to the amount of work that 343 would need to do to allow forging FF maps.
Again, more waste of room. AI’s aren’t easy at all to program to just simply place on maps.
6.I think 16 people is just fine. I think most of the maps are big enough play just well. Not to say some of the funnest games in Halo are 4v4 Arena style maps.
I enjoy Reach but it is not like other Halo’s. Halo 4 needs to be the classic experience that was Halo CE, H2, H3. It can’t have armor abilities and bloom.
Hopefully, they will keep the campaign similar to CE. I think we can all agree that it was the best. However, Halo 3’s multiplayer was my personal fovorite because it introdeced forge, had great maps, and it wasn’t full of noobs that consistently resort to armor lock. If 343 could in any way bring back the Halo 3 feeling with equitment, brute vehicles, etc. that would be the best.
no Flood multiplayer skin when infected in Infection
no Sticky grenades of some kind
no Animation Assassinations
no BR (and I mean the Halo 2 BR)
no Bleedthrough
super powerful grenades
no Halo 2’s Ranking System (where it was harder to rank up and Boosters did not exist)
Bloom
Armor Lock
HOPES:
Forge World, bigger, better, different variations (Forge World Default, Forge World Snow, Forge World Desert) with customizable object looks (Human, Covenant, Forerunner)
more MM maps (including DLC), including more than just three Invasion maps total, total of 25-30 maps
more FF maps in DLC (do it like CoD, 3 or 4 MM maps, then 1 FF map)
FF plays like Halo 3 ODST, where it was crazy, tough, and fun, where AIs rushed the Yoink! out of ya, not in Reach where they stay back, hide, or go to one part of the map
Falcon back, but let two players sit in seats also, or make two variants (Falcon, and Falcon Transport, where Falcon is like Reach’s Multiplayer and Falcon Transport has a weak turret in front and can hold passengers)
lots of guns (like Halo 3’s amount)
Helmet HUD shape (where you can see the outline of your helmet’s visor, and maybe make it different with every helmet), also customizalbe HUD, color, where your motion sensor, ammo, etc is
AMAZING Campaign, long, awesome POV cinematics, and only 2-player Campaign; I liked that better for some reason
Customizable controls
Sense more-than-likely Kinect will be in Halo 4, which makes sense from a buisness marketing sense, bring back Analyze and the Library
Flamethrower, because you need it for Infection!
Covie Mode (similar to GoW3’s Beast, play as Grunt, Jackal, Brute, Hunter, Drone, Arbiter, and more of the Covie and kill Humans and Spartans)
sorry if this is alot of wishing, but is/was your Christmas wish list ever short?
