So guys any idea whats going on with fall damage? I feel its a huge part of the sandbox and nobody has brought up this question yet. What do you guys think, should 343 keep fall damage?
I see no need for it, it just limits players more.
Man cannons are also so much harder to set up in Reach because of fall damage.
Well these are Spartan IV’s so I doubt there will be fall damage. The only reason it was put in reach was because these were the old school spartans.
There is no fall damage…okay yes speculation…but look at the vid of “wraparound” 2:35 and numerous other times where the spartan jumps/flies, wtvr from one place to another. I don’t think people would like that map if fall damage was implemented.
plus frank O conor has said that this halo will be faster, jump higher bla bla bla…
Fall damage would be a …$%^&* if it was implemented.
99% sure it won’t be in = 99% speculation.
I prefer fall damage. But I am aware some people don’t like it.
Therefor, it should be a tweakable option. One where you can set the damage based on whatever height you feel is comfortable, or from no height at all. Allow us the ability to tweak it and we can have better options to consider when creating new maps.
