What do you think about an expansion pack for Halo 4?
They are developed quickly with small teams, because they already have the engine and the skins, all they need is to code, build the areas and maybe add some new textures.
They’ve done this in the last two games with Halo 3: ODST, which I personally liked, and Reach: CEA, which was ok, but it wasn’t ‘new’.
So for Halo 4, what do you want for the expansion?
ODST 2?
New Plotline?
Chief before the first trilogy?
Or would you prefer no expansion pack at all?

Well, Halo Anniversary wasn’t really an expansion to Reach, but more of a rather large map pack.
However, I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing as ODST-esque expansion to Halo 4, as long as they make it a quality product and it doesn’t distract them too much from Halo 5.

I understand what you mean, but by expansion pack, I meant like an added campaign, thats why I compared it to ODST.

I think a lot of people would rather discuss these things after release and quite a bit after release. Obviously because Halo 4 isn’t out yet and we are still in the stage where there is a lot to talk about and a hell of a lot to discuss in the months ahead. Threads like this may have a better reaction in the Halo Universe forums as it’s based around the story extension and future games, not Halo 4. When the time comes after Halo 4 and these forums have died down a bit then people will be excited and interested in delving more into this concept.
Yeah to early yo, I want to bask in the campaign first and not worry about an add-on so soon. I really think that it doesn’t need one anyways if the Campaign is already a hit, just stop there.
I’d prefer to not think about expansions untill at least six months after the game has been released. Don’t be in such a rush man.

Halo 4 expansion sounds cool, however we don’t want a repeat of the Mass Effect DLC thing here.
