Halo 4 Expansion? Opinion!!! NOT REAL!!!!

Hey guys, first off, hope you are having a good day, and you are excited about the upcoming weapon tuning! Second thing, THIS IS AN OPINION, I am not revealing anything cool found in the deep corners of the internet.

Here we go,
So the new Xbox, which I refuse to call it the Xbox One, because I already have 2 Xbox Ones… one of them isn’t modded with the Halo 2 Killtacular Map Packs :wink:

Anywhozle, the new Xbox is not backwards compatible. So what does that mean for all of these Xbox 360 games?

So its obvious that 343i isn’t giving up on Halo 4 yet, hell we have the weapon tuning and now new armor and weapon skins coming this October, so why would they keep updating a game if it’s going to die because of the next generation of console?

That leaves us with 2 options:

  1. At E3, Microsoft reveals some sort of way to have Xbox 360 games AT LEAST compatiable with the new generation of Xbox LIVE. Honestly, that is the only part I am excited about, those 32 player Halo matches with Pelicans and Scarabs that so many people have posted here about are a possibility. So, back to the new way they are compatible, they would be able to access the new servers and options. That’s cool, as a fool, in a swimming p-p-p-pool.

  2. This is an option I am excited about. But first we have to talk about something else: Halo 2 Anniversary . They have said that there is not going to be such a thing, and if you guys remember correctly, Halo 1 Anniversary was released TEN YEARS AFTER THE ORIGINAL LAUNCH!! Halo 2 came out in 2004… so 2004 + 10 = 2014.

(tl:dr If Halo 2 Anniversary is real, it sure as hell won’t be coming out this year, come on people it’s basic math.)

Back to the second option.
Halo 3 had an updated Multiplayer with Halo 3: ODST. (2 years after)
Halo: Reach had an updated Multiplayer with Halo CE Anniversary. (1 year after)

Is it possible they could be working on an updated Multiplayer for the new Xbox?
New Maps?
Even more Armor?
A Forge and Custom Games Fix?
Hornets?

I don’t know, but what do you think?

Ooooooor, there’s no Halo game on the Xbox One until Halo 5?

There will be a “console” called the Xbox Mini. It is essentially an Xbox 360 without a disc tray, and plays Games on Demand games you already have or will buy. Plug it in to your Xbox One, and it becomes your answer to backwards compatibility; use 360 discs through the XB1 and it plays them through your Mini.

OP, Frankie confirmed they’re not working on H2 anniversary anytime soon. Also I wouldn’t hold your breath for an update to Halo 4 or anything connected to the Xbox one.

Lastly it’s called the Xbox One because it is all in one, not because it is the first Xbox. So you have to call it the Xbox one.
