With MLG dropping Halo 4 and the current state of Halo communitiies everwhere we would like to bring all Halo fans an event that we hope will showcase new ideas with Halo in mind.
Many people will still play halo even if dropped by MLG, I’m aware that in the US people may have never heard of other competitive leagues such as EGL.
I am here to present to you a way to stay in touch with top European players and become apart of our community.
Now that Halo 4 has been dropped from the pro circuit it is our chance in the EU to step up to the plate , bring communities together and revive halos competitive scene .
Thursday 8pm GMT time I along with the help of an exports organisation will be holding a test series with maps from the forge community we will be seeing if they can be used for competitive play, what works what doesn’t.
This is where you guys are needed. There will be. Live stream at www.twitch.tv/b41nzz89 and you guys can hopefully come along check out the testing of the maps as we will be playin 4SK settings created by the brilliant EU halo community. You will have a chance to show your skills against European players. At the end of playing each forge map we will talk about what works and what doesn’t on that map.
We will be having 4v4 scrims and then making spaces for people who are actively participating in the stream to join us and give their own opinions.

We aim to have a set of around 11 maps of which can be put forwArd to testing and be considered to be used at EGL (European equivalent to MLG)

How this will work: The test series will also feature Reign.Esports B41NZZ will provide a stream and then further players from the community will jump in and out of the lobby to play the maps themselves.

We need one extra person (Adamack if he’s on at 8.00) for the first two games and then we will switch out players leaving the 2 streamers to be captains for the rest of the night.
Players who would like to participate in the Test Series can leave a comment in this thread, however i will only pick people who are contributing to the stream discussions.
What we aim to do - Provide a live stream of events from both teams, showcase a variety of new maps on the new settings, highlight where players can find the settings and maps themselves and finally cap gameplays and walkthroughs of the more suited maps for later viewing on our youtube.
Settings to be used are the new Haloforum.eu Ruleset and they will be used on the following maps.
Current Status: We have a Gametype testing group consisting of Adversary, Phlux, Kritical, Waiho, Pyro and others going through each map and seeing what would work best. We hope by Thursday that the majority of issues will be sorted and an extensive list of testing can begin by ourselves (Reign) and the Halo Community.

*Station 9, Lotus and Simplex are already well known however we would like to highlight them to viewers as stand out forge maps. These maps work well in competitive play and may or may not have been seen by some of the viewers on stream.
Maps are subject to change dependant on the groups findings and any additional maps found.
We aim for this to be a fun event, we want it to be enjoyable but preferably we would also like to find some new gametypes and maps from which we can choose from in competitive play.
