I noticed the other day that the ESRB rating has been applied to the Halo 4 facebook page banner. I feel like it’s almost too early for the ESRB to have even rated this game. Anyway, if this is legitimate, then I guess this means no flood since it doesn’t say “blood and gore.” I know they said flood wouldn’t be in but I was hoping that they would. Also, I guess they don’t use any language whatsoever. Doesn’t really matter to me, but I don’t think “shucky darn” (or something like that) is what they should be saying when there is a new and unknown threat.
It will still have language. I believe reach said the exact same thing, but it still had language. I really don’t think 343 would make a marine say “aw shucks” lol!
Frankie announced that the Flood wouldn’t be present quite some time ago. This shouldn’t come as too much of a shock. But as with everything else right now, this rating isn’t final. Obviously the M rating will remain, but the reasons why could easily be changed and/or added closer to release.
I dont know about you guys, but I think that when a game gets an ESRB rating, it means that the main campaign is done. If so then thats great news! Just something I wanted to point out, now they (343i) will have a lot (2-3 months) to work just on multiplayer and to polish off the game. I know how it is to polish a game, Swtor took 3 years to come out and the last year was all about polishing the game And it turned out to be incredible. So yea, thats about it.
> I don’t think so, Campaign could be done story wise, but for all we know they probably haven’t even started it!
Well the game is going to be complete in 7 weeks, and we’ve seen footage from the campaign. I’m willing to bet they’ve at least started it by now.
But on a serious note, we know that campaign has been playable from start to end for a while now, and is most likely complete and nearly bug-free at this point.
