Is anyone else thinking that in the epilogue when they showed John’s face they intentionally hid his eyes? Like most spartan IIs Master Chief had blue eyes and I say had because the Librarian accelerated Chief’s evolution to make him immune to the composer. If we could have seen his eyes might they be a different color or would they still be blue?
They didnt hide his eyes? i believe if you beat the game on Legendary you can see his eyes. i’ve seen it when i first beat it on Legendary(SOLO).

They aren’t.
Wow, that was fast. I just posted this topic.

Indeed, eye color says nothing about intelligence or abilities of that person.
When I watched the video, and I have just watched a few different videos of the same thing to confirm this, I could not see his eyes because they were shadowed. To me they seemed hidden.
Maybe. I guess I was just thinking about Rise of the Planet of the Apes and how it seemed that eye color was linked to that kind of stuff. Just a movie though.

I don’t think he intended to sound the way it did, but that sounds kind of ‘particular Fascist party 1920-1945’
they still looked blue too me and he has had blue eyes since he was a boy
Yes, thank you. I did not mean to sound like that. I was just wondering if traits could be linked because I think that to some extent they can.

While the genes for eye color do come with some baggage; the most significant of these is blue eye’d people generally metabolizing alcohol slower than people of other eye colors, to think that an eye color is a mark of genetic superiority is pretty much the definition of -Yoink!- eugenics, which I seriously doubt would be integrated into halos lore.
I have blue eyes and they aren’t linked to anything, they’re just blue. Master Chiefs eyes didn’t glow, so I don’t think being turn into an “original-type” of human did anything to his eyes. And if his eyes were blue long before he met the librarian, so why would his eyes being the same color carry significance to any changes she made to him?
Spartans have blue eyes because of the serums that are injected in them to enhance strength.

Who are you? -Yoink!-? Like seriously, be careful what you say, some people make look at that as some sort of pro--Yoink!- comment or something.

You tell him to be careful of what he says after asking him if he’s -Yoink!-.
Might want to watch what you say.
Yes!!! It’s well known through Eugenics that as long as you have blue eyes you’re a super human! Seriously though this made me laugh because it kinda compares Halsey to -Yoink!- in a kind of way. Plus if you think about it the Master Chief is almost Hitlers perfect idea of an ideal Aryan person… Just needs to bleach his hair a little.

-Yoink!- eugenics was wrong.
I know I just love being cynical! Ha, no almost all eugenics is wrong all DNA is completely the same for human being no matter what race we hail from.
I personally thing, the Librarian change him.
BTW, for those mentioning the “blues eyes” part, i recommend we cease all the off-topic stuff, before someone get into trouble.

This whole thread has to do with his eyes being blue so nobody is really off topic
and for everyone else if you read the fall of reach John has had blue eyes and blond hair since before the mutations to enhance his physical and mental abilities
