Halo 4 Enemy Theory

I was just thinking about this while watching the E3 footage, but what if the Monitors from other installations were the enemies?

The reason I say this is because when I watched the Anniversary Terminals, I noticed that the other Monitors weren’t responding to Guilty Spark, that could be for a large number of reasons of course, and I’m not trying to disprove anyone’s theories. I know Decepticon Cobra will be in here. (Love that guy) But when watching the Terminals I thought. Huh…bit fishy but whatever. Then during the Halo E3 Footage think back to where Chief encountered the Covenant Patrol, the Elite was killed by something unknown and when he looked there was nothing left but a little blip of light.

Not a very solid concept, but an interesting one nontheless. Imagine if the Monitors were trying to bring back the Forerunners, or even worse the Precursors.

I’m gonna go lie down. My head hurts.

I actually really like this idea! That would pretty awesome, man!

Well, the blip of light was a Promethean Knight teleporting away (this is made pretty clear when seen in action later in the demo).

And as for the Monitors being the enemy, I just don’t see it happening. They are the care takers of their respective Halo rings, nothing more. I would imagine they weren’t just cut off from Guilty Spark, but from all the other rings.
