Halo 4 enemies will they bring back the brute

Are brutes coming back to halo 4

There’s no sign of them… Yet. Then again, maybe they won’t be here this time around.

Nobody knows.

Indeed!

Doubt it.

For the record, if they do I hope like they are the model from Halo 2.

I REALLY doubt it

But anything is possible

Hopefully the original Halo 2 Brutes return. Those are how Brutes are meant to be.

Berserk…Berserk…Berserk…! But what i’m really hoping returns is the Hunters we haven’t heard about them at all.

In terms of design? Perhaps…

In terms of functionality? HELL NO!

Agreed

Also Will u be able to kill scarabs like in halo 3

I wouldn’t think so. Then again, no one really thought they’d participate in Halo: Reach either.

If they are in I hope they retain their AI (and appearance, naturally) from Halo 3. I can’t say I cared for the team-killing cave trolls of Halo: Reach.

Don’t worry, my friend. It’s not possible to make a Halo game without the following ingredients: 1 Spartan, a fistful of human soldiers to aid you, a couple of Elites, a clover of Jackals, a packet of Grunts, and a pinch of Hunters.

All of the mentioned enemies bring unique and interesting combat situations to the game which the franchise just can’t do without. Drones, Skirmishers, and the various Brutes also bring unique and interesting combat scenarios to the table, but the formerly mentioned ones are absolutely necessary for the game to be interesting.

I have no true confirmation on the presence of Hunters other than that Halo 4 is a Halo game, I hope you enjoyed the cooking analogy ^^

I would be incredibly surprised if they weren’t in the game at all. I fully expect most covenant specie to make an appearance (even if it’s just a prisoner walking by in a cutscene, as small as that is) except for the Prophets (who I suspect are extinct). I doubt, however, you will be forced into combat against any Brutes.

I highly doubt the Elites would allow the brutes to rejoin the covenant. In The Return (7 years after Halo 3), the elites and brutes are still at war and the brutes are losing.

As for the prophets. Their population is in the hundrads I believe, so yes they basicly are.

I’m 99.9% sure we probably won’t even fight a single brute in the reclaimer trilogy.

In terms of design… Of course!

In terms of functionality… that’s what they’re there for. Halo 3 ruined Brutes by making them seem too tame (and pathetically weak).

If they’re going to use the Halo 2 functionality,do not MAKE THEM DAMAGE SPONGES!

Brutes have always been just like that kid in MM that you purposely -Yoink!- just get him/her to rage and attack without thinking getting killed every time they rush into a full team or a power weapon.

Something quite interesting is if the Brutes, skirmishers and drones became allies and are part of the old Covenant of which the elites, jackals and grunts are part of the new Storm Covenant, I don’t know who the hunter sided with not that they would truly side with anyone since there effectively a bunch of worms that were tamed into joining the Covenant and the same goes for the engineers. and I think that maybe the old Covenant have a new Prophet leader.

I don’t see why we wouldn’t fight brutes, I mean some of them were still with the “rogue covenant” in glasslands.

But i’m pretty sure this is a different group of covenant… maybe… idk if they evolved themselves into “Storm covenant” or not
