HALO 4 ENDING DOESN'T MAKE SENSE?!??!

In the end of Halo 4. cortana quickly teleported chief away from the ship and used the last of her energy to sustain a shield of hard light around him and project herself as a hard light hologram capable of physical contact

  1. How was Cortana able to teleport Chief off the ship instantly without a need for any portals or anything, why could she not do this throughout the last mission but could when Chief detonated the bomb?
  2. How did Cortana keep the shield up and running when the ship generating it was destroyed. Was it because the nuke didn’t detonate for a minute or so? Was it because it took a long time for the ship to be damaged enough to the point where it could no longer generate the shield etc. are any of those the reason? Please tell me because after extensive search, no-one has answered this on the internet that I could find.
  3. Who is the Didact talking to at the end of halo 4. I’ve seen lots of forums about this but only speculation. My theory is he’s actually talking to the monitor of the composer’s forge he finds on installation 03 in the Halo escalation comics. Is he talking to the forerunner council during the ancient war with humanity? Who was he talking to and when?
  4. When chief hit the bomb did he detonate it or just prime it which would explain Cortana could sustain the hard light bubble minutes after the ship was implied to have blown upMy main unanswered question is 2 which really bugs me, but 1 also annoys me. 3 I can live without knowing but it’d be swell if they officially said who he was talking to and when.Love halo 4, just those plot details which are pretty major have been left unanswered which annoys me because I’m super obsessed with making sense of things and I’d appreciate the help on this. I’m hoping that seeing as it’s so long after Halo 4, people will be a bit more educated in their response instead of pages of people discussing and questioning things about their misinterpretation of what happened in the end. Thanks.
