Source
• War Games Map Pack Access

The competitive multiplayer modes of Halo 4 are known as War Games. The Limited Edition includes access to nine maps - three future competitive multiplayer map packs, each including three locations, available for download post-launch on Xbox LIVE. Yes, you read that correctly; you get nine maps in the form of future DLC with the purchase of the Halo 4 Limited Edition. Score!

Everyone will have access to select Specializations, but those that purchase the Halo 4 Limited Edition will receive the ability to unlock six Specializations early, available at launch on Xbox LIVE. You can use them, one at a time, to achieve higher ranks in your Spartan career. In addition to gaining access to new ranks, Specializations unlock new customization options. We’ll be releasing more information about Specializations at E3, so expect additional details about this particular feature then.

• UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet

The UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet includes a Spartan armor customization schematic, information about UNSC weapons, an introduction to the massive ship UNSC Infinity, and insight into what it means to be one of humanity’s finest warriors: The Spartan-IVs. Story lovers will especially enjoy this in-fiction offering that provides a glimpse into the indoctrination of Spartans aboard the Infinity.

• Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Special Edition

The Special Edition of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is a 90-minute extended version of the live-action digital series which will take fans back to the terrifying beginning of the Human/Covenant war, when the Master Chief inspired a young cadet who would eventually become a leader aboard the UNSC’s greatest vessel ever: the UNSC Infinity.

Digital content also includes in-fiction bonus content that expands the characters and stories of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, special featurette Bringing Gaming into Reality, and a behind the scenes look at the making of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.

• Bonus digital content through Xbox LIVE

The Limited Edition includes the following bonus digital content through Xbox LIVE: unique in-game Spartan-IV armor skin, unique in-game weapon skin for the Assault Rifle, an exclusive in-game emblem, Xbox LIVE Avatar prop, and Xbox LIVE Avatar Spartan IV armor set.

What’s Exclusive and what isn’t?

ARE EXCLUSIVE.
NOTE: This exclusives might be available in a distant future(scroll all the way down on the link given for the information).

I read on some website it stated Recruit was an exlusive armor for LE?

Source(scroll all the way down on the page given at the link for the information)
NO. Recruit Armor is DEFAULT armor for everyone in the game, what it comes it’s the Armor skin for the Recruit armor.

Do we get the same War games DLC content if we buy the Season Pass or the maps separately?

Source
No The Scanner and Strider helmets come with the standalone Halo 4 War Games Map Pass (and not the LE).

Specializations Early? What are Specializations?

Source
No, everyone has to reach to the rank 50 before choosing any specialization

Forward Unto Dawn comes as a DVD on the LE?

No, it comes as a digital download(not a physical copy) this was stated on the announcement of the LE, if you see other products selling them on DVD or any other type(physically), it’s because they are selling it separately.

What’s up with many people ‘‘complaining’’ about LE? What does it has?

Nothing bad. Many people complain because they say it has loose it’s exclusivity, by the part of The Season pass, and getting the specializations early (because it seems theres a way to get them early if you have the standard edition).Xbox 360 Halo 4 Bundle (Limited)

I hope this help to the ‘‘new’’ ones.
If you don’t want LE, don’t buy it.

I am just trying to clear up any problems you have about LE, if you rather buy if or not.

After all it’s a collector’s edition.
I added all the editions, and the ‘‘Season Pass’’, like it contains digital content.
If anything is missing tell me.

what were we supposed to see on the bottom of the page?

@pucas Fix’d

thanks dude

$60 retail game + $25 map pass + $15 digital copy of FUD extended edition, physical items, and exclusive digital content.

seems well worth the money, but lately the news of the early specializations for standard edition early birds has caused massive pre order cancels.

Lol can you believe people were spending and extra $40 for a few ingame exclusives?

Good thread OP, it’s always nice to inform the noobies

Excellent thread. The argument that they should have the specializations for way longer than we should is quite unfair, and we’re still getting ours later than them if we haven’t bought the game by the 20th. Not everyone is getting all specs immediately, and even then, you have to be level 50 to even enlist in one. I dunno, the storm that resulted is stupid, it’s just a video game, and we knew that everyone would have access to pretty much all of it at some point.

No digital copy really, just access via Waypoint. We don’t get a download.

If they ever do release pre-order content to us, how long do you think it will be after launch until we get it?

I know nothing has been said about this, but what do you think?

This is the only thing that is bothering me about Halo 4 for some reason, everything else looks perfect.

At this levels, I am not sure if the game has already being shipped to retailers.

But i guess by you buy? i mean if you pre order, they get your email.

You need to add a bit of clarity to this, such as the movie not being an actual physical copy, and that you MUST buy the War-Games pack separately to obtain the helmets.

Edit: Also, if you want to help, you should edit your post so that you’re impartial

But, when bs angel mentioned the possibility of them releasing all pre-order content, when do you think this will happen?

Like a dlc giving us all the pre-order content.

@creep i think in a future, not distan or far, if they do.
@mossy i fix’d what you wanted, not the game pass issues, cause that’s was a source stated by bs angel.

I appreciate the post but you’re showing that LE is recruit skin only.
While here it shows armour AND skin

Halo 4’s “exclusives” have been a huge mess lately.

Recruit armor is the Default armor that everyone starts with.

Edited with all the edition, am not including the controls or other materials that hasn’t in game content.

Nope. I payed more, why should you get the same? It should be like the Flaming Helmet in Reach, I bought the Legendary Edition, and good thing they didn’t release the Flaming Helmet to everyone else. They shouldn’t, if you want the stuff the LE comes with, you should’ve pre-ordered it or buy it.
