Halo 4 Easter Egg, Reclaimer Mystery Buttons?

Check this out This looks like an easter egg that needs some more investigating…

thats interesting. it could be a bug but i hope it isnt. i honestly have no idea what it could be otherwise.

Hmmmmm…Interesting. I’m gonna check it out right now.

Interesting indeed. I’m definitely have to look into this more. Good find though!

Tell me if you find anything!

Anyone found anything?

Were those digit codes like from the sec 3 thread with the hex and whatnot?

It’ll probably yield another one of those crummy Waypoint codes. Where did all the funny dialogue eggs go?

I heard all that, but i didnt know what to make of it, also, if you continue the mission a little and push the computers again it makes another weird weird dialouge thing sequence.

Show some respect. You are coming off as a spoiled child.

Two things jump out to me:

A. The buttons look like they might be assets that haven’t been attached to the consoles, and could have been used all along (if they were attached).

B. Perhaps picking them up in different orders/different amounts will yield different results.

I’ll have to take a look at this.

Hmm. I wonder if you can run ahead and pick those up before the mammoth starts moving. I know if you run ahead far enough the mammoth is triggered to start moving, just need to check where those things are in relation to that trigger.

I’m interested.

My first thought was 4 consoles means 4 player co op. Try that, bet.

Makes sense to me!

Hush little kid, I don’t need your crummy opinions. These eggs are bad and probably weren’t finished either, in their rush to throw it out the door. Keep searching and waste your time for meaningless Way-point codes and EXP. LOL’d.

Not exactly disproving the spoiled child thing, bro.

You’re the one who is not acting mature. If you can’t appreciate what we do for the community then don’t say anything as opinions like that are non-constructive and are nothing more than spam.

Transcript of computer dialogue:

> “Defensive Position. Tagrat. Six digit grid, November Unicorn 742454. Gypsy Company. Forward operation base. Enclosed rocky valley, bounded on four sides. Visibility poor. Encampment suitability: good.” (NPC dialogue here.) “Lasky, Thomas J. Commander, UNSC Infinity. Service Number: 77698-41073-TL. Acting ground commander: Gypsy Company, Requiem.”

I believe that is only mission data. “Six digit grid” is how precise you would be in reading the map. “November Unicorn Seven Four two Four Five Four” is just a specific location on the correct map. November Unicorn would be the 100,000 meter square identifier. 742454 is the location to the nearest 100 meters.
This means the starting location for the mission (where the Mammoth is) would be NU742454.

Gypsy company is just the group’s name that Lasky is in charge of (known because they give his Service Number toward the end and say “Commander, Gypsy Company”)

“Forward Operation Base” would likely be the Mammoth itself. “Enclosed rocky valley, bounded on four sides” is where you’re traveling (terrain description for verification of location, I assume). “Visibility Poor” and “Encampment Suitability: Good” should both be self-explanatory.

Maybe try activating them at the same time on 4 player…
