It looks like a alien type thing.

I would say more of reference, or just a cool thing to look at more so than an Easter egg. Easter eggs tend to be much more well hidden.

They aren’t easter eggs.
They’re a species that live on the planet the Map is based on. They didn’t say what they were called or anything like that though.

Yeah, it wouldn’t be pretty for them. They would try to implant an egg to no avail what with his vaccumm sealed powered armor and whatnot.

Precursors are also massive, those things look fleshy on the back, I doubt precursors are.Also even if they are premature I’d imagine them to be much bigger…Also, they’re no longer in our galaxy.

They were being awefully suspicious about them when they said that they “wouldn’t go into much detail about them”. Maybe they are a hint towards the Ancient Evil.
I think its something like Cold Storage. In the video they mention that the outpost occupants vanished oddly so maybe some flood got loose?

It’s possible that the fleshy look is just their embryonic stage. Other than that, I completely agree.
It is strange and interesting cause he didnt say much about them plus the mysterious abandonment of the facility and planet. seems mebe there is more to them and this planet than we can see.
