Halo 4 easier than Black Ops II?

I’m an average gamer who has come to find that the Halo series fits my “needs” as an online gamer. But this isn’t about my life story.

I look at Black Ops II, all the time I spent into it, (3rd Prestige, but that’s pretty big for me, even when it only took a few weeks) and I can’t help but wonder why I find Halo 4 (I more just started playing, only about SR 23) so much easier! Maybe it’s the fact that most of the time I’m not 1 shot killed before at least knowing my enemy is there, maybe it’s the fact that I can headshot better since nobody dies in one shot most of the time. I honestly would like to know if anyone else finds Halo 4 easier than Black Ops II, and please state a reason if you can.

It depend really, some people find Black Ops easier precicly because you only need one perfectly placed shot to end it but I can understand how a lot of people can find this challenging especially when faced with people with better perks .

However I’ve always prefered Halo over Cod.

There is almost a poetic beauty in knocking your oponents shields down with a perfectly placed grenade and then mopping him up with a headshot. Mind you you probably wont find an emphasis on this sort of gameplay anymore cause everyone now gets a power weapon after 5 assists but its still in there …somewhere.

“everyone now gets a power weapon after 5 assists”

Bit of an exaggeration don’t you think? I mean, sure it’s easy, but the real skill comes in when you can get 3 to 5 of those in one match. A power weapon can be avoided with the right tactic, I personally enjoy using the DMR again.

Considering Halo has been dumbed down for ret@rds, Im not surprised you find it easier. In the old days you had to pace your shots with your BR and hold the reticle over the target. Can you believe that!

You don’t do that now? I started playing when Reach came out (Played a bit of Halo 3 too) and always found that I never won a gunfight (Yes, even in Halo 4) unless I had my reticle over the target’s head.

Haha your right it was probabaly an exegeration (I think its more like 6 or 7 if Im not mistaken, someone will have to look into that).

Halo 4 is probably a lot more easier and a lot more fun (in the instantgratification) sort of way however skill in Halo 4 is a lot harder to identify than with previos Halo games.

You’re right a power weapon can be avoided but there is no denying that having 7+ power weapons active on a map at the samen time turns the game into more of rock paper scissor, spork than a true measure of skill .

I have no idea why but I loved the DMR in Reach and love the BR more in Halo 4. Suprisingly I find myself holding my own against DMR users even at long ranges.

The DMR and BR are the best, haha.

Not even close. I can go 33-4 in Black ops II using only the combat knife. Not to mention shotguns are a OHK and level 1’s start out with the most powerful shotgun in the game.

If Halo 4 was easier than my brother wouldn’t have a .6 K/D in halo and a 1.0 K/D in COD.

Yes Halo 4 is easier than previous Halo’s but to say it is easier than Black Ops is just stupid.

No other way to play

Lol yeah because 1 burst shot is easier than 5 burst shots. no one even aims for headshots in cod (unless you’re sniping) because there’s no shield so its just one extra bullet. lastly, cod killstreaks promote camping because once you get to a killstreak you can piggyback on its kills scores to gain you the next killstreak.

I’ve always found the CoD franchise super easy. Ever since the first MW when I was able to drop nukes in simultaneous games and sometimes even get 2 in one game (couldn’t use both and no I’m not a camper), all the way through MW3, I have found CoD less skillful as a game. I like CoD, and I still play BO1 from time-to-time, but I find Halo more difficult and skillful as it’s not just who sees who first. Granted, the Halo community’s play-style has become more CoD-ish (camping corners with PV and a BS), I still like how you can turn on someone that got the first shot and win because you are a better player.

CoD is like kids bop. It’s the same thing over and over but with different songs (maps) and also the amount they will make is unforeseeable.
Halo is way better.

It is better. I guess i’m just one of the few that find CoD hard and Halo easier.

Blops 2 is WAY easier than Halo, I got to lvl 30 in a day. Its a really easy game but a little more fun than Halo sadly, I will get back to H4 when they add in Skill Ranks, and Ranked playlists, REAL ranked playlists, not this trueskill -Yoink-
