I have a copy of it and I’m sitting in a Forge Lobby. However, I’m not risking going online and I don’t recommend you do either.

i spoke to support this morning regarding what they advise they say play offline intill launch
You won’t get banned for playing it early as long as it is a legitimate copy.
Microsoft know if it is pirated and if it isn’t.
I am not risking it.

Not to be one of those guys… but how did you guys get your copy early? Who did you buy it through? I ask because my Amazon order still hasn’t even budged at being shipped out yet.

You can play any of it, you won’t get banned if you have a legitimate copy.
it can depend on what type of order you have normally companys send all out 5 days before if you have 1 buisness day delivery its gonna be extra early

What I’d recommend you do is the same that I’m doing. Go create a new profile that isn’t signed into Xbox Live and just play. You can go on Campaign through that. I’ve already blasted through it on Easy and I’m fine.
There’s no way I’d play it on your own profile though, legitimate copy or not. Just play offline until Nov 6th. Trust me, the time will fly by sir.

My copy on Amazon won’t ship until Nov 4th/5th so I’m still waiting for it. However I have a family member who works in a video game store and he can take out some copies early provided they are played offline.

I orderd it before the “Order now” button was visible. It was pure luck and accidental.
They cannot legally ban your console if you bought a legitimate copy. This topic has been discussed hundreds of times across hundreds of different releases. Of course if you ask they are going recommend you don’t because they don’t want you playing but…they can’t ban you for it. They would have to take the issue up with whoever sold it early.
Other xbox releases have had the same issue and a few were answered by Microsoft Support saying they couldn’t ban you for playing a legit copy.

don’t sign in AT ALL. just to stay safe
acturly they can under prerealese play they have the right to suspend or perma ban your consul or account

Well they shouldn’t ban you, but legally, they absolutely can. They can ban you for anything at all or for nothing whatsoever. You’ve agreed to their terms of use when you sign into Xbox Live.
