In the e3 trailer what were some of the good and bad things about it?
For me, I think the Assault rifle sounded awesome, the new BR looked decent,
And overall it looks like a great game.
But what really annoyed me was the fact that Cortana’s face popped up on the HUD
when she started talking. This looked very -Yoink!-, and should be cut from the game.
Also The shotgun better not be replaced by the scatter shot, cos that would be Blam!
if that happened, i would definitely not buy the game.
Aside from that, it looks A billion times better than black ops 2,
and i hope they release more cool trailers.

Fickle ‘fan’ is fickle.
Everything about the footage and trailer was near perfection. My only qualm is I’m not a fan of jungle levels. Of course, as a mysterious, hard-to-see-through and unsettling location for revealing the Promethean AIs, it was a great choice.
And the grenade indicator… Halo dun need no grenade indicator.

The Assault Rifle sounded beast! I love that they used a real life LMG for the sound of it. It sounds sick and might be more fun to use now.
The BR sounds pretty good, and the scope has grown on me.
Still not a big fan of the new grunt design as they just look ugly now, although it was pretty funny to watch the Elite push the grunts around.
The new enemies look crazy! I hope that they are as smart as 343 has made them out to be.
The graphics are phenomenal! It was jaw-dropping watching gameplay.
I actually liked how Cortana’s face popped up on your HUD. It made it feel more like you were actually talking to her. And that goes for the other guy’s face popping up on your HUD as well. It doesn’t clutter it up, so I am fine with it.
The Lightgun, or whatever it is called, looks awesome. I can’t wait to use that.
The Scattershot could very well be a welcome replacement to the shotgun if it acts the same. It sure looks sweet.

“-Yoink!-”? As in homosexual? How does a game have a sexual preference, and how does it look “-Yoink!-”?

That is a very childish reason to not buy the game, and besides, the weapon looks a lot more interesting than the shotgun, even if it is basically a shotgun in design and function.
I think you should have used the word Q u e e r instead of -Yoink!-. It might offend some people.
The scattershot is awesome. Reminds me alot of the flak cannon from UT. Wouldnt mind if it was replaced by the shotgun. But Im pretty sure the shotgun is still in the game.

You seem to forget that the Shotgun was in this Red vs Blue video.
It looks a lot like the Reach shotgun, which may be the reason why they haven’t shown it. They could have been using the Reach shotgun as a placeholder.

I like it when Cortana pops up on the HUD, it just gives it a better feeling IMO.
And no, the scattershot is NOT a replacement for the shotgun. The shotgun will still be very present.

It’s nice that the AI are interacting with eatch-other outside of combat.
Pros
Halo 4 looks better then Reach.
Br is back (but don’t like the square scope)
Cons
Why is txt coming up on screen! Do I need to read what I did? I got a double kill I get it I was there when it happened! Who the hell does that benefit?
Medals look like something out of a girls purse, its like they don’t what you to care about them? Where is the CLASSIC colours!

Its Just I’m not going to spend $130 dollars on a game that isn’t halo.
And it just seems like an un-needed weapon, because it appears to function exactly the same as the shotgun. That said, i cant say anything yet because release is too far away, It may have other Traits to balance it out.

It’s a dream come true! I hope it’s not always scripted though. The AI should be capable of doing that every once in a while. It would especially be funny if the Elites kicked the Grunts like they do with boxes in H3.
Like Jay said, the shotgun is in RvB video, I doubt it was x’d.
The scatter shot shoots slower than the shotgun and may have more killing power at a range. Shotgun shoots faster, but less power at a range.

I don’t think the shotgun determines whether the game is Halo or not…
Well, honestly I can’t think of any negatives of the trailer. Everything looked really good and its got me even more huped for Halo 4, which I thought was impossible considering how excited I was before the video 
All I can say is well done 343, and Roll on Halo 4!

I dont know, The shotgun is pretty great. i just cant imagine playing infection with a scattershot.
Pros: The Campaign, Cortana going rampant, story elements from the fiction being tied in; Spartan OPs and MP included. The BR, faster gameplay than Reach and most likely 3 (yay). The skybox -Yoink-, Prometheans, unique maps and larger sandbox with Forerunner weapons.
Cons: Hardlight Shield, that health regeneration AA, Firepower package, the fact that’s not in my 360, no one asked Josh Holmes about the BR being a four or five shot in the final game.

Not to mention it’s clip size isn’t that large. While it can bounce shots, i believe the shotgun will fire more and most likely at a slightly faster ROF.
Pros- Looks amazing, return of the battle rifle, hud looks like you are in the helmet
Cons- weapon location indicators (Especially in online modes)
