How did the Master Chief reload? He didn`t pick up any ammo for the grenade lancher.
How does he reload any gun?
Well, if my assumption is correct, then that gun is a grenade pistol (like a handheld RPG of sorts) which means it could just be a grenade he’s strapping on the end.
Or, as an alternative, this is a non-final CG rendered teaser trailer that may or may not reflect the content of the final game to differing degrees.

Yeah, except when they put magazines and stuff in there it automatically loads clips into them and they pop up the specific ammo for their specific weapon when needed. Which can make for easy, quick reloads for most weapons, like the SMG or the AR.

Whatever, I’m just basing this off of what I saw in the last scene of Halo Legends, which was confirmed to be canon BTW.

I think the ammo sticks like a magnet just like how a gun does when Master Chief puts a weapon on his back.

Rockets fall under explosives, and I still don’t think it would fit unless the reloaders were actually in his own leg. o_o
