Should you be able to dual-wield weapons in Halo 4?
Maybe small arms only
I liked running around with dual SMG’s and I would like it but I feel like 343 has something better possibly
Dual-Wielding confirmed out ages ago.
And hell no. You either make side-arms useless and underpowered to balance it, or you keep them normal-powered and DW ends up being way OP.
It was cool and all, but not a necessity.
It’s not in the game, unfortunately.
If anything, Dual Wielding was the biggest and most pointless gimmick mechanic in the franchise. It didn’t double your offensive capabilities, it actually handicapped you in certain areas. It was a pointless “we have it but other games at that time don’t” mechanic.

People blame the BR for H2 and H3’s brutal sandbox balancing when in reality it was dual wielding’s fault.
Personally I never liked it.
I liked the dual-wielding but i think it should only be for the smaller weapons like the needler and magnum maybe an energy sword… That would look pretty cool
They took it out to balance the game better. Sure it makes you look like a badass but it just breaks how the game is played.
No, I didn’t like it. I rather be ready to throw a grenade instead of shooting two guns.
