I know this has probably definitely absolutely completely been said, but will there be dual weilding in Halo 4? If there is I’ll convert to Forerunnerism or whatever.
Nope, sorry.
You could always play split screen and dual wield controllers.
-cries-

I don’t think that’s how it works…

While Dual weilding is fun, at this point in time I think most people consider it very gimmicky. And that goes for most FPS games currently.
Sadly, no dual wielding in Halo 4. Hopefully it will be in Halo 5!

It wasn’t gimmicky, it was just bad in terms of balance, a single SMG would rip someone’s shields while dual SMGs would do the same damage as a single SMG.

Balance too, I remember A LOT of people complaining CONSTANTLY back in the Halo 2 days about balancing dual weapons.

Indeed. Then I can save $65.

Haha oh wow, I seriously hope you’re joking.

Never mind the fact that picking up a second weapon is ENTIRELY optional.

Yeah, Balance is the issue that needs to be fixed before it makes a return into the game.
If they can balance dual wielding with single wielding, then I’d be more than happy to see it back in the game.

Agreed, cause if you’re truly going to no buy Halo just because one simple little feature that isn’t that impotent, then I am not sorry to see you leave.

why dont people understand that some things in a game to some people are important for each person its different maybe for you you’d be angry in the chief shows his face but for some one else they would not care. this person may see this as an important part in the game maybe not to you.
If you want dual wielding to work, just have it so you can only dual wield the same kind of weapon.
> If you want dual wielding to work, just have it so you can only dual wield the same kind of weapon.
Dual SMGs were worthless in Halo 2.
It isn’t the case of that, but more balancing the actual damage they do.

I understand that, but that’s no reason to not buy the game.
You just need to play CTF. Then you can have a pistol in one hand and a 1-hit-kill melee weapon in the other.

I never thought of that, but I guess it is kinda dual-wielding. This changes everything!
