As we all know we are moving towards the release of halo 4 the question is what will we be doing november 6 th 2012 at 12:00 in the moring we will be buying halo 4 then later on that day we will play the game we have been waiting for that i have been waiting for and we will say lets eat but then our minds will be all like should i got make me a samwhich or do i continue halo 4 and our mind will say halo 4 and just like all the post in here we just cant wait 
I wonāt be able to get it until the next day due to college. x.x Iāll get it at Walmart Iām not buying or preordering it at Gamestop. Last time I did that some noob cashier ripped me off on CEA for preordering and buying it. Not gonna go to Gamestop there again till that guy is removed.

Iāll probably get H4 2-3 days early because of my awesome retailer who sells his pre-ordered games the day they are brought to the store. my only complaint is that they donāt bring it to me but thatās ok because when I have to go and get it myself I will have it earlier.
So when everyone still has to wait 48 hours to play Halo 4, I probably have already beated the campaign and played some multiplayer.

If Iām not mistaken, thatās actually illegal. Retailers are legally bound and are prohibited to sell games before their street release date in their respective area. Not sure if itās something to do with the developers or publishers of a game, but Iām pretty sure he could be penalized for doing that if he gets caught.
Not only that, but if youāre detected playing Halo 4 online 3 days early, your account and/or console may be banned from Xbox Live for having obtained an āillegalā copy of the game.
Iāll try to get it a soon as possible. But I may not be able to get it first day. 
Iāll be in school so I donāt know when Iād have the time to go and get it. Probably the weekend after itās launch.
well before anyone does any illegal / bad things why donāt we just play halo reach for the 48 hours prior to the release and even before then feel free to add me on xbox live X Darkstatic X

Iām quite certain you cannot be banned for playing a game prior to release date if you obtained the copy in a legitimate manner, as Iāve seen this stated by the former XBL Director of Policy and Enforcement a couple of times. This includes buying a copy early from a retailer because the customer isnāt the one at fault.

Yeah, I think this was an issue that was clarified around when Modern Warfare 3 came out. You shouldnāt get in any trouble if a retailer sold it to you early (i.e. if you obtained the game legitimately). However, the retailer who sold you the game can get slapped with some really hefty fines and the employee who sold it, depending on how the sale transpired, would be terminated.
As for the day the game comes out - Iāll be in university, so it will likely be quite busy for me (it always is, since november is right before first semester exams) and I also work at an EB Games. My boss knows how into Halo I am, so heāll likely schedule me to be working the midnight and not the following couple days (heās cool like that). Iāll be out of there by around 1-2 am, probably take the day off school and just soak in the game. And then itās back to the sausage factory.

Myself and my brother work in retail. We sell video games at our local store.
As soon as the game gets in our store, we can have our copies.
We usually get our copies a week or two in advance. Thereās no need to brag, you arenāt special.
