halo 4 doubles pro

OK lets be honest there ain’t nothing pro about it. The gameplay is horribly slow and luck has too much of a factor in who kills who first (yes I’m talking about the radar).

inevitable noob: but wolf why is it picked more than infinity doubles. You so stupid.

It’s chosen more because (annoyingly) it’s always listed first so even if you get 2 votes for infinity doubles you still lose. It’s also chosen more because n00bs see “pro” and instantly think “that is so me”.

inevitable noob: I think its pro because then I can crouch and lie in wait like the assassin I am.

Yes you can… ::frustrated face:: However crouching and hitting someone or sprinting and hitting someone (you know those guys that just randomly charge at you) Either of those things don’t take any skill at all. Therefore not suited to be called doubles pro.

I’d ask that the title be renamed to something more fitting and have it not always the first option.

Radar has never been on in any Pro gametype in Halo ever.
The radar is a crutch, it reduces the need for awareness, and actually increases camping, due to being able to stay off the radar and wait for a red dot to come by. Camping isn’t going to get you anywhere in a no-radar gametype.

clearly youv’e never played rumble pit on halo 4… because they have radar on the "pro"gametype there. Besides in mlg halo 3 as that is the only other example I can think of there was no rada, however the spartan could run slightly faster and junp slightly higher increasing the speed of the gameplay which was my main concern about halo 4 doubles pro (the slow gameplay)

Rumble Pro has a radar because it has a place in FFA.

The lack of a radar in Doubles Pro allows for more strategy from team mates who constantly have to call out where enemies are instead of relying on their radar.

Doubles Pro features 110% movement.

Every single MLG/Pro gametype lacked radar.

The majority of players do not enter doubles with a partner and they rarely have a mic. Sure if you want to appeal to the small ccommunity of halo 4 players that has a partner knows the callouts and doesn’t instantly quit whenever they see opponents who could ruin their +4 kds then you’re totally right.

It seems I’m totaly outnumbered here though so I must he wrong.

I would like to be appealed to as a minority. The only time I ever play Halo 4 matchmaking nowadays is in Doubles with a partner. The Infinity and Flag settings still exist for you, and are not always second slot.

mmm they’re always second or third slot. Please check before posting.

I actually love Doubles Pro. Once you get used to it, it becomes so much better than default
