halo 4 does and donts.

OK ,343, if your reading this here is a list of do’es and dont’s. DO’ES
1 I have been watching several videos and are under the impression that humanity never finds cheif . If this is the case for the next trilogy of halo you are making a big mistake .
2 The “anceint enemy” cannot be the flood . I mean the flood should make an apperance but not as the main enemy ,there fun for a while but not for long.It should be something else.
3 you must include at least one halo ring in this trilogy (if you dont its just not halo)
DONT’S
Dont make completly new music. update the old music but keep the feeling kinda like what you did to cea.
I KNOW ITS SHORT BUT IF THEY DO THIS ILL BE CONTENT. POST YOUR COMMENTS BELOW.

What videos have you been watching?

  1. I don’t really see how not involving the rest of humanity in the Reclaimer Trilogy would be a MASSIVE mistake (Especially seeing as it’s Jon’s story???). Besides, it’s been said that there will be familiar human weapons in the game, plus the new hand-mortar-pistol-thingy (Which I want for Christmas btw) that was in the teaser looked distinctly human. So I think it’s ‘relatively’ safe to assume that your wish is granted.

  2. It’s already stated it’s a NEW ancient enemy… don’t know about you or anyone else but to me that says it’s not the flood.

  3. …they don’t HAVE to include a HALO ring by any means. As far as we know Jon could be in a totally different galaxy, where the need for a HALO ring (or seven) doesn’t exist due to lack of flood.

M2C: This trilogy is being made by people who LOVE Halo for all it’s worth, and they’ve been working solidly on it now for years…have a little faith in them at least? I’m confident they’ll do an amazing job. To me at the minute it’s sounding like good old Halo, but with a much deeper campaign… I can’t explain how much joy that brings to regions of my body that I won’t name here.

Eh? That’s a terrible idea. 343’s making a new game that is distinctly theirs, they shouldn’t rely on old material.

I agree. Halo 4 needs to branch out from the channel Bungie dug for it, and that can’t happen if you simply rehash old tunes to simply keep the few fanboys happy to the exclusion of the greater market.

And keeping to Halo 4 (and the OP), humanity finding the master chief is a weak plot point. He’s a hero, and a lot more than that so any reaction they have is going to follow down the very linear lines of worship that grew a little tiresome with Halo 3 and the complete subjugation of the UNSC’s collective character to your badass-ness.

There needs to be time spent where the chief is utterly on his own, where his character can be flushed out without over-excited marines depreciating it to a yawn-ful Rambo-Jesus.

I’m not gonna say do’s, because there’s nothing I absolutely want to see at this point, in fact, I want to be surprised, but in a good way…

which leads me to my don’ts:

  1. NO Sergeant Johnson, he’s dead, gone, get over it.
  2. No UNSC, at least on a large scale, maybe a small, lone vessel, but no way of them contacting command or anyone else.
  3. No Covenant (or former Covenant races), possibly some Elites, but they aren’t Covenant, they’re Separatists, but on a small scale

I really like what this guy’s saying.

LONG LIVE THE RECLAIMER TRILOGY!

> What videos have you been watching?

helo 3 believe or something like that google it.

Something I really want in Halo 4 which is quite different from everbody else’s requests is an adjustable volume control feature, because there have been so many times when I wanted to crank up Marty’s amazing music to full blast, like during the Warthog Runs or defending the rooftop in ODST.

im pretty sure there is. just press start and go to settings i think. but you can always turn up your tv.

my major DONTS

Dont inlcude bloom on perceision weapons

and DENIATELY DONT keep the chiefs stupid -Yoink- armor that he has in the trailer.

thats about it

Okay…I dont understand what you are talking about.
Who ever said humanity never finds chief?
And who say they will?
And I agree with that one,I hope flood is not in halo 4.
But i kinda like the new creepy music.

Halo 4 will be like a restart for the halo universe,a new start.of something big.

if you want to know where i got that they never find chief watch the halo 3 believe trailers. in one of them a guy talks about chief being mia and that clip was set in like 2609 or something like that. but that also was halo 3 and they could have ignored that clip.

It seems that you only played halo 3 and reach please play halo 1 and 2 before you say no flood as main enemy.

i have played them all and i just like fighting everything but the flood. it is fun… but after youve played it for a few hours it gets boring. although the flood should and probably will make an appearence.

There should at least be 1 ally. I can’t stand solo missions with no Covies. If the ancient enemy is like the Flood, it’s going to be a yawn fest.

First of all get your facts right, secondly who are you to be telling 343 what to do, and third watch legitimate videos.

OK, first of all i was just giving 343 an idea of what we dont want. secondly im not TELLING 343 what to do im only making a segggestion. and thirdly the videos i was watching are ligitimate, because there halo 3 trailers. so before you accuse me of being a liar check the facts. p.s. heresthe link to the specific trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCnKyH64icA&feature=player_detailpage

Well, yes there should be allies (the plot wouldn’t be interesting otherwise), but that doesn’t mean that you must have a pack of wooping marine cannon fodder to gladly hurl themselves to their deaths for you.

There are other options than the one we’ve built 4 games on.
