I spent $25 on the season pass but cant play any DLC maps because there is no DLC only playlist.I think the DLC’s should be free like in Halo 5 so every body can enjoy the DLC’s and every one that already has the DLC’s can play them without having to find players to play custom.
Well no one plays Halo 4 much any more so I don’t see why you brought it.
Buying Halo 4 DLC in 2016 was a mistake.
I agree though, it should be free. DLC is implemented in every playlist, but I’ve only seen it recently in doubles, SWAT, and Action Sack (like 4 games with 1 lobby in the last 1000 games)
You can feel free to add me though, and I’ll invite you to DLC customs that I’m often running
I understand nobody should be buying the season pass in 2016, but I bought it in only a six months after the game came out.Just thought it would be nice of Microsoft to allow people to play the DLC’s they spent money on.I think Halo 4 came out in 2013.I just thought it was about time people get to play the DLC’s.
It does stink. DLC maps should be free. If companies want to make extra many use micro transactions like gun camos, armor, etc. Payed DLC just kills the community.

Same here. I also have this problem with halo 3 and Reach and with all three games there are a lot of achievements that require dlc maps and I can’t play them because there are no dlc playlists.
Happy to hear I’m not the only one in this boat. I have the season pass since the game came out, but I can’t seem to ever play on the DLC maps. I can see why companies make you buy DLC but if you do that then at least make game types based on just DLC maps.

There were DLC only playlists for a while and at one point one of the primary playlists required DLC but there just wasn’t enough population to keep them going, same happened with Halo Reach as well. Halo 3 is different because it requires DLC for nearly all playlists, but you can get all the maps from the ODST second disc
I have all the Halo 4 and Halo 3 DLC’s.If anyone wants to party up and play custom games send me a friend request my gamertag is TheWarMaster48.
All DLC for all previous Halo games should be free- starting with Halo: Reach, since we barely got to play the DLC maps in that game before 343i -Yoinked!- up the playlists.
I got the Game of the year edition for just over $12 (which was cheaper than the regular game would have been) on Amazon. It has a bunch of DLC, including the Deadeye and Locus helmets.
i would also like to see them free…its hard enough finding lobbies without the dlc, giving the dlc out for free would 1) allow more players to connect to playlist instead of splitting them off and 2) bring more players back to the older halo games for various reasons like to either play for fun OR like myself achievement hunt aswell as have fun
better than letting the older halo games on 360 die.

Those limited DLC playlists were my golden moments of H4. Hate to see them gone but they’re on the MCC!
I’m way too cheap to buy up the DLC for the achievements, but everytime I look at that service record and see all the locked achievement sitting there, taunting me with their smug grey icons… I think I might have a problem. But I can’t justify spending about 30 bucks on that instead of investing them towards getting an Xbox One. Such a shame.
Now that halo 5 is released all previous halo games dlc should be free

Rather they didn’t. I’ve seen how bad those maps are when they went ‘free’ since it gave them an excuse to make less quality maps.
