Wassup guys and gals, Izzi here with a question that’s been bugging me since the first info dump about weapon skins, pre-order bonuses and other retail exclusive mumbo jumbo. I know some of the pre-order bonuses “unlock” exclusive and specific armor permutations, emblems and weapons skins, but for a completionist, like myself, it seems I’ll have to break the bank to obtain them all :/. Unless all said items obtained through pre-orders and retail specific purchases will be available for XBL Marketplace throughout Halo 4’s release. Well I guess the question is, will “exclusively” obtain items be locked forever for the specific purchases or are they more of a “timed” exclusive, making it so certain players will have access to certain armor, skin, etc. before everyone else? Hopefully it’s the latter, because it still bugs the hell out of me to lack the red flames and the haunted helmet. D: <- apologizes for the bickering, but please let me know what you guys think.
Well I haven’t played reach in a while but last I saw people were able to buy the recon helmet which at release it was a preorder only bonus when you got the limited edition. So I would assume the stuff you are seeing will eventually be a) for sale or b) just not count to you’re completion percent.

no recon preorder bonus was early access and that’s all it was ever advertised as

And I don’t really care what cool things it come with other then the DLC maps and maybe the locus helmet

And that means I got that map pack deal (Like with all LE’s). And I also get the Recruit armour and Prime skin. But I think I’m also getting the Circuit skin as well (GAME exclusive)
