Hey everyone! I’m new to this forum, and I also have a problem I’ve ran into. I downloaded the Crimson Map Pack on the day it came out and everything was fine. A few days ago I find that my map pack has vanished! Whenever I boot up Halo 4 it says “Unable to validate, please make sure you are connected to Xbox live and have the war games map pass” I did download it for free, and have no idea what happened. Although I should point out that I put my profile in the cloud and went over to a friends house, downloaded it, and played Halo 4 over there. (He has the war games map pass and we played on the DLC) Could that have something to do with it? Also when I go to look at the DLC (It’s in my hard drive) it says “Assinged to other console” so could it be on my friends? I tried deleting it and re-downloading the DLC, but it still says unable to validate. I wont be on the rest of the day today, so I’ll hope to see some answers tomorrow! Merry Christmas everyone!

You got it for free, which isn’t what the map pack was for. You were suppose to buy it, so because you didn’t, they took the map pack away from you and whoever else got it free.

But it was free due to the promotion. 343i put the map pack on sale for 0 MSP to those that played before the 15th of the month
