I know this is not support forum, but I have already posted there and got no reply.
I’m pretty sure I downloaded 4 DLC map packs, I can play in custom match in there. But when I’m in matchmaking I always play in Heaven, Adrift, Exile, Complex, Abandoned, etc. I would like to know how can I play in the other maps? I want to try Pitfall in matchmaking, but I cant find a playlist for that map (and the other in Crimson Majestic, Castle and Champions bundle maps).
Also, I don’t know if there is an exclusive playlist with all DLC maps. If there is so, can you tell me pls because in my available playlist it isn’t.

The last time we saw a DLC only playlist was back in July or maybe August…so it’s been at least 10 months. Terribly sad. I’m happy to help you if you need any achievements for the DLC maps, but as far as playing regular matches on the DLC maps, you’ve really missed the boat man.

Posting in the support forums isnt any good because the guy who I noticed helps a lot of people got banned for giving people an honest opinion about the forum. From what hes posted about about this issue before, maps from all the map packs are in all the playlists but everybody in the game MUST HAVE the DLC for the maps to show. This means if 1 person doesn’t have the DLC then the maps wont show up for voting. As far as I know its been the same situation since Halo 3, the only difference is Halo 3 made almost all its playlists require DLC to play them. And no, you are not missing a DLC only playlists, there isnt one. From what I hear DLC shows up regularly in Team Doubles.

I believe that even though every DLC achievement description says it must be completed in matchmaking, about half can be done in custom games after all. Or we can always search MM with extra controllers and do it that way.

Despite the issues that have happened in the past with DLC matchmaking, I think it’d be great for 343 to add back the DLC playlist for those of us who spent the money to play the maps on matchmaking. These DLC maps look like they’d be a lot more fun then the disc maps and I think that 343 should let the community experience these maps before leaving h4 alone completely. I think it’d be a nice little gift to be honest if they allowed us to have a DLC playlist before forgetting about us.
