Halo 4 Disk Problems

I just bought this 2 disk game for my son yesterday.He can not play it. We have been in contact with Xbox and have done all the trouble shooting that can be done. This would not be such a problem if we lived closer to the retail store. However we live 2 hours away, so it is not an easy task to just return the game. It would be a 5 hour trip.
According to Xbox they asked me to contact 343 Industries and the Halo makers, this is what they said: do understand that it’s not going to be easy to drive to the store. You can also check to 343 Industries and or Halo if they can provide you a direct link where you can download the games since you just purchased the game.

Please help me!!!

Unfortunately, your best bet is going to be to return it to the retail store. You won’t get a digital download code as that is a separate purchase and doesn’t come with the discs.

What exactly is the problem you are having with the discs?
