They let us down with these piss-poor Custom Game options. Plus, no UNSC aircraft? Why!? Also being in a normal 'Hog is a death sentence thanks to the fact that players can spawn with Plasma Pistols and Plasma Grenades! A mistake, IMO.

I agree, but with regards to the aircraft…

I wanted so much to believe that statement Frank O’Connor made before the game came out.
I wanted so much to like halo 4 but it just isn’t halo.
I’m sick and tired of joining a game in progress only to have the game end 10 seconds later.
I’m sick and tired of looking at my ordinance choices of plasma grenades, needler, and speed boost, and then getting sniped by the guy who got “luckier” and got a beam rifle.
I’m sick and tired of games going to the timer because no one pushes when everyone on the other team just camps with the boltshot.
I’m sick and tired of being disappointed by something that is supposed to feel like halo but isn’t even close.

> Where is the half jawed elite commander?
> Where are the brutes?
> Where are the drones?
All of these can be answered by reading the books.

Only 343i employees known why they made these stupid decisions that ultimately tanked their game franchise.
I love it when we point out that the game was obviously not finished and the fannys shout “Its only been 2 months, they are still working on stuff!” Okay, well then, why did I pay full amount for a game that wasn’t fully finished? And yes I paid $60 at launch, and a few weeks later it became $40. What a slap in the face. Now I know they wanted more sales and they are a business out to make money, but it is insulting that the real fans of the game bought it for $60, then made it $40 for the casual people to buy it. Just an insult.
Also a point Peyton Manning made. He said that when gets a new contract, that that pay rate isnt for his performance in the future, but was based on his past achievements. Meaning when he went to the Broncos and got a ridiculous amount of money that it was based on his pass, not his future.
This is the same as Halo 4. Halo 4 sold a ridiculous amount of copies, but not because it was good (people only assume it would be), but because the past Halos were so good. I would be very interested on how Halo 5 sells after completely alienating their fans.
Its also funny to point out that almost every defender of this game were people who started under Halo Reach. No wonder why they like this game so much.
Its funny really. After all this hate and disgust regarding the game, 343 still remain silent and continue to ignore what the fans want.

I am going to PC gaming. through out reach i stayed on halo wishing that halo 4 would be out soon and it would bring back what i loved. but i wen’t to MLG Dallas and played it 3 days early and while i was playing at Dallas i didn’t get that feeling,the game wasn’t fun anymore it was no longer what i loved for so many years. i got home from Dallas went and got my copy of h4 to sit down and play it for a few hours and i just couldn’t enjoy it anymore. So i wen’t back to h3 and was in love with how it felt than wen’t to h2 XBC and loved it even more but than i thought to myself can i really sit here playing this for another few yearr,at that point i was just done didn’t know what to do than i got online and bought a gaming pc and hopefully when halo 5 comes out i can enjoy halo again. It has been fun playing but i am taking a break from the game until halo 5.

Have any of the 343 staff even considered that the majority of fans don’t enjoy the game? It annoys me when people say that the forums are full of mindless haters because people are really putting some valid points out there regarding Halo 4.
When i first got the game and played through it and thought wow this is awesome but i look back and i realize it wasnt that great and i played through the campaign again and it isn’t anything special…The whole game “Insert Cortana” “Remove Cortana” oh look cortana has lost her marbles, And wtf master chief made a nuke explode with his hand and lived?!
But to be fair it is 343i’s first game and they did a pretty good job with it.
343i didn’t let me down at all. The MP isn’t, IMO, as good as previous games. It really shines in some areas and lets us down in others. But overall I am very happy with my purchase.
Why does it seem like the only thing on the forums is people -Yoinking!-? Everyone one has been hating on halo 4 and 343 and saying things like, " you shouldn’t added this or removed this or it’s too much like cod". But you know what? If 343 or bungie never changed anything in all the halo games then it would be cod, because there is nothing ever new in the next cod games it’s just a different campaign. People never complained before halo 4, but after everyone started hating. If you hate halo 4 or 343 then don’t play it.
