For years, Forge and Custom Games have been the crown jewels of Halo, allowing people to create fun new games and maps. What happened to it all? What happened to the large maps, the endless amounts of options for custom game types? What happened to the precision editing and the ability to zoom in while in monitor mode?
343 promised to enhance it, but all they did was cut off an arm and a leg! Not only that but they refuse to listen to what the community is saying, plus the fact that they forgot to add in a number of other items us veteran Halo gamers came to know and love!
Here is a short list of what 343 has taken out. Some of these are permenant
-Cannot Disable Sprint
-Cannot Create Single Flag CTF games
-Cannot Customise Flood Weapons/Survivor colors
-No Human Flying Vehicle
-No Big Forge Maps (which can be fixed in later DLCs)
-No Headhunter, Assault, VIP, Juggernaut, Action Sack games/gametypes
-Spartans are WEAKER
-Instant respawn and Custom Loadouts ruin any typoe of MLG experience
And there is so much more. Things like the weaker spartan issue and human Flying vehicles can’t be fixed, which is sad and crushes many gamers spirits. Many gamers have been forced to give up Halo 4 for previous games, or different games entirely! But 343 has nothing to say about this, they do not respond to the what the community asks, and they ignore everything negative about the game.
I ask you, 343, you say you listen to the community, why will you not listen to us, the forgers and the custom games creators? Why don’t you at least give us a message to let us know what is going on?
