Halo 4 Demo??????

So if you have a iPhone or iPod touch you should be able to find what I found in Xboxes my Xbox live app when they just updated it. They basically said that there would be a demo for halo 4. I have a picture of it but I can’t figure out how to post a picture when I’m typing this on my iPhone but any one that has a iPhone or iPod touch could go and see for your self. First download the app. Next Click the little black bar on the bottom that has the 3 white dots. Click on settings. Then go to what’s new. Go to the bottom and there is says halo 4 play the demo.

The only place you can play it is at conventions, like RTX. 343 will not release a public beta/demo.

Hmm, perhaps it means the demo at RTX? I’m not sure.

I guarantee you that’s not public. The public, I’m sure, won’t get a demo till after the game releases.

There’ll be most likely be a public Halo 4 demo after its release. Definitely not before it, anyway.

if you think about it they would be very smart to give us even just 1 or 2 campaign missions it would fire up everyone even more then we are now.

Most likely a closed demo, but we can always hope!

also a few weeks ago when i discovered this i went and checked halo 4 in the market place and it was gone they keep taking it off the market place and putting it back on so i don’t know if that means anything but it could mean that there is something coming. it would be nice if someone from 343 could come on here and clarify this for us but i dont think that it would happen.

The 1 you are talking about is a BETA, not a demo. We can hope that there’s a demo. If there is, it’ll most likely be the one shown at E3.

With all the hate on the forums for something people have seen relatively little of I think it was a good move by 343 to not make a public demo. Just a sit back and trust us we’ll wow you eventually approach

It was already mentioned weeks ago in a identical thread that this demo showed was for promotional purposes for smartglass. It has no relevence in the possibility of a public demo.

They could possibly release a spartan ops demo and give a few minor customisation options.

Well, Bungie never released an actual DEMO until AFTER release of the full game.

However, as so many on this forum are quick to point out…

This is not Bungie, this is 343i

So who knows at this point?

Side-note: What was shown at E3 was reported to be read as “Halo 4 Trial” by the console, not “Halo 4 Demo”
