What if 343i decided to give us a demo, like the one they will be showing at E3, but we will actually play it. I mean most of us here just want to play the beta because we want to play Halo 4 early, not actually help 343 out. I would be totally pleased if they did a demo, over a beta.
I doubt they will give us a demo. I mean, when was the last time they threw up a demo of Halo on the marketplace (please correct me if I’m wrong on this one)? Halo: Reach had a demo, but I’m pretty sure that came out after the game was released.

343 is a new company, with new ways to advertise their game. Bungie did betas, 343 isnt, who knows, we might have a demo coming our way:D

did halo reach not just have an open beta, did they also have a demo too?
A freakin time machine!! Wow I could totally use one of those. Ughhhhh I can’t wait all the way till nov 6… Demo would be cool to reveal graphics though.

Reach had a public multiplayer beta. A demo of the game was released on the marketplace later after release.
I think a beta would be better so that we could submit feedback to 343i to perfect their game over an emergency TU after launch.
Well I was surprised this morning when I updated my apps on my iPod touch and saw a little surprise in the what’s new section of the xbox live app when I first opened the app up…

I was upset about the lack of a public beta but if this comes out before release than I’ll be extremely happy… Even though I’ve already paid off the limited edition of Halo 4 XD

Hm. It is probably referring to the gameplay demo from E3 or something along those lines, and was just a misleading title, rather than a leak.
Although a similar sort of leak did happen before Anniversary was announced, it would be nice if this was true, but for now I doubt it.
