Halo 4 Cut scene Ideas

Throughout the Halo Trilogy I have found the cutscenes to be very dull and i would like their to be more action, this is master chief were talking about here, we all want to see him take out a bunch of enemies with his eyes closed. This will help make the campaign more interesting, an action cutscene along the lines of this:

Gets interesting 1/4 of the way through the video.

Or we could save the fighting for gameplay.

I have faith 343i will have appropriate cutscenes. There’s so many variables to when a cutscene is needed or not.

Cutscenes are for story and information, fighting should be kept to gameplay. I normally find the cutscenes very interesting and usually suspenseful, like the quiet before a battle. I guess all I’m saying is that for a campaign, story is equally as important as action.

Halo wars cutscenes were amazing!

I don’t think it would hurt. I certainly enjoyed the fighting cutscenes offered in Halo 3:ODST

No! I want to watch all the exciting things, not play them!

Yeah, MC should put project freelance to shame.

Agreed they had the best cut scene compared to any other Halo game.

I agree that fighting should be kept for the gameplay, but one action cutscene wouldn’t hurt.
Like the part where Chief throws the elite down an elevator shaft? little things like that make it just that more awesome.

I wouldn’t mind more action, but it should at least be things that couldn’t be done while playing as Chief, like overlooking a large firefight before going into it yourself, and getting some good shots there, then you just leave Chief fighting in the battle to the player.

But then, I love the story of Halo and the Cutscenes do a good job of fleshing out the story. I don’t want the cutscenes to be full of combat when they should be more filled with dialogue and parts of the story.
