Hey everyone, Gamertag Vampyre0422 here… Ok, so I just got the Halo 4 Game Informer in the mail today, it sounds like its gonna be amazing! However, they barely touched base on the whole armor customizability. And by barely I mean it basically said “you have starting armor now lets talk about guns”… So my question is, will there be armor piece and armor color customizability? Because that was always one of my favorite features for the halo games, as well as the custom personalized emblems. Will all these features that i know and love be coming back in halo 4? Please answer in a sincere manner. thank you halo community!
Well the colors is pretty much a given. Though im not sure If they have to make a whole new set of emblems or not.
I think you can count on all that being in the game.
ill settle with the emblems they already have for reach! i just want something on my armor besides pieces and color that makes me unique from the other players!
ive always enjoyed many things in halo, but custom armor, colors, and emblems are one of my favorites!
Colors aren’t much of a chore.
New Emblems and nostalgic ones as well will do the job
The Armor is a 343 thing like the story
I’d say no on fully custom emblems. The community isn’t known for it’s maturity and i’d rather not be in games where everyone has a -Yoink!- on a -Yoink!- sign as an emblem…
im not saying full on custom emblems. im saying at least keep the ones that they had in reach.
I liked the icons / emblems in halo 2, mainly the gradients actually being the whole emblem and not leaving strips down the sides of it anyway :]
I’m sure all 3 will be well provided for, if they do use any emblems from prior Halo games, here’s hoping for my Snake back

I had the same one through Halo 2/3, but then they removed the primary emblem I used from Reach… Don’t know why :S
eh who knows… but i even used this emblem in ODST! thats how attatched i am to it

No word but it’s a pretty safe bet. What else are you going to spend all your hard-earned Spartan Points on?

My point is that’s too limited. There will definitely be more.
I’d like to see 343 expand on all the emblems we have for Reach. A bigger colour pallet would be great too.
Some new emblems I would like to see are the Orion and Gungnir symbols.
The Gungnir symbol is on the side of the Splaser.
please bring back the “forgotten” emblems. Specifically the hawk, throughout Halo 2 and 3 and even in the Reach Beta my clan used the Hawk emblem and then it was taken out of Reach . Please 343 bring them all back!
though… i kinda like how the new basic helmet for multiplayer somewhat resembles the rouge helmet from halo three
