343 has stated that you will be able to customize your equipment in halo 4 more than any other Halo game. Does this include weapons? and if yes will that mean we can customise scopes, colour and even design?
If this is true how will it effect the halo experience and will halo become more like COD?
We will not be able to costumize weapons. We don’t need that kinda element in the Halo franchise.
Just for the record, COD Doesn’t own the right to customizing weapons… Thats an aspect FPS’s have had for a while and its always associated with COD. Im sure 343 wouldn’t blindly put weapon customization in and didn’t give it a “halo feel.” We will just have to wait and see 
I think this could be interesting, but obviously not in the classic gametypes.
i was also thinking that if 343 put in this feature that they might also put in multiple versions of each gun such as the halo 1 pistol, the halo 2 pistol and the halo 3 pistol or even allow you to design a pistol (or whatever gun) to suit your preferences such as high fire rate but low ammo.

You just described the functions of CoD/BF 
Doesn’t fit into Halo with multiple versions of one weapon. (Rapid fire extended clip RPG anyone)
who knows what 343 might do. 343 has hinted at loadouts but never actually used that word. Personally I don’t like the idea but I’m interested to see what the community think.
I cant see us being able to spawn with custom weapons beyond aethestetics. The sandbox design simply doesn’t support it.
I hope weapons aren’t customizable.

When I read the OP, I was thinking emblems on the gun / patterns, etc.
Not anything like that.

Imagine being able to build your gun from a base shape. You could add different scopes, reticles, colours, patterns, shapes, emblems or tags. The amount of stuff you could put on would of course have to be limited in some way. You could even unlock new shapes as you go up ranks

as long as it in no way affected gameplay except for the enemy stopping in their track and yelling dude that is so damn awesome

Not going to lie that looks really nice and i think people would love to be able to do such ----- But only time will tell what 343 is doing …
I wish 343 would release something solid. The Halo series is the only series I follow and it seems to keep it’s fanbase in the dark.
