So I was watching a video from ‘The Halo Forge Epidemic’ ( which btw you guys should check out , they show some pretty impressive maps ).
The map they were showing was called ‘Dead Space’ , a dark scary maze themed after DS.Now the gametype and map look fun , but it brought something to mind , have any of you guys ever thought how much more infection would be if we could only use a flash light to guide us ?It would make gameplay alot more fun and scary but just think about it.
The link above should give you an idea of what I mean , but in Reach we can’t use flash lights or the NV that we could use in the campaign.
If any of you remember AvP from Halo 3 , there was one zombie that was completely invisible that hunted down the humans and it was a very fun map.But no imagine if the map was dark , so dark that you could only see a few feet in front of yourself unless you used a flash light.It would bring a sense of team work and unity to the humans until , of course , they would get picked off one by one.I think it’d be fun as hell but that’s just me.
Now I know this may become game breaking in MM but there’s a way to fix that if it was put into H4 , have it be a an option in the gametypes if you want it on or not or have it specifically made for infection.
Its just a thought and I’d really like for infection to ‘evolve’ and become even more fun and scary.
So , thoughts ?
Also , what would you like to see in infection/custom’s to see them grow and become fun again ?
