Ok so every time i need to pause the game, the sound completely cuts out. Except for the sound of the menu popping up the buzz noise or whatever it is. Other than that there’s nothing and you gotta restart the game in order for it to work again. I know im not the only one with this problem and it seems 343 would rather sell another game than fix their previous ones. Its becoming Call of Duty all over again. Halo 4 iv’e also glitched out of the campaign 2x now. Had to reload the checkpoint and that gets aggravating. The latest one i cannot even continue even loading the last checkpoint. The map is gone. I’m floating on nothing. Just cuts off in the desert and your driving the mammoth on the clouds. And i wasn’t even high. Maybe i should have been but the fact remains that was right after a checkpoint and even if i reload there is still no map. Id like to play through Halo 1-5 with my friends but guess what, I would rather not have to deal with the issues it has. I didn’t buy every halo 2 and 3 times to have the most advanced copy that is available to crash and be nonstop buggy. This time around i thought hey maybe ill get the limited edition of halo 5, first limited edition of any game iv’e ever decided to get, don’t do it guys its a mistake. MM steak… All you get a is a metal case, some req packs (which you can earn in game anyways), and some useless -Yoink-. There was no DLC pack, there is no season pass, 40 extra bucks for some figurines and a metal case. if i could return it i would. I know full well 343 does not give a rats -Yoink- about any of their fans and will continue selling broken game copies with no intention of updating them or fixing them. Its not worth our money we gave them to fix the bugs and glitches. Maybe ill go buy Tony Hawk Pro Skater, at least i know i’m buying a -Yoink- game.
I have the same issue playing Halo 4. Pause and unpause and no action sound. Tried reinstalling and no help. Like you, I have to quit the game and restart to get the sound back, and play without ever pausing to keep it. Just bought MC Collection recently. Why hasn’t this been fixed? I should have just continued playing Halo 4 on my 360! It is smoother on the One, but this is too much of a hassle to make it worth the purchase!
I have the same problem. The weird thing is that this glitch didn’t used to be in the game, and I’m referring to the MCC version. I think it was one of the many patches that have been installed to fix the multiplayer. The ironic thing is that i think these patches are breaking the, once working, campaigns. 343 really needs to fix this. As far as I’m concerned these are game breaking glitches.
