Remove Boltshot from loadouts… it’s like that shotgun,
WEAPONS
Short distance weapons are not balanced… specially the SAW and the NEEDLER, too many strong.
The BATTLE RIFLE In long distance it isn’t good like also the old halo… now it’s a plastic BR…
SPECIALIZZATIONS
Remove Wetwork… it’s not balanced…there are too many people that use camo + wetwork… it’s frustrating…
ARMOR ABILITIES:
Camo+wetwork is too strong.
Sentinel slow the gameplay…
other AA could be good, but in general, i don’t like AA. Too noob friendly…
MAPS
Add in infinity the old classic maps, from halo 1,2,3 and reach. And some community creations…
The long term swing back to team oriented competitive play is in FORZA 4. Spartan Ratings instead of Car Ratings in order to play on a rated map. Casuals and Randoms get to keep their perceived survival mechanics on maps that allow them and Competitves get a VSR and maps in turn that won’t allow extra traits.
*Please note that those casual traits should be geared towards honing team play like the regen field or AAs that benefit the team rather than the individual.
The developer gets to showcase advanced gimmicky mechanics that compete within todays market while the game begins to condition towards teaching Halo team values.
Just shoving it their face instantly will simply result in a larger model between BTB and Throwdown only now it’s over developers and not playlists. You gotta take into fact that every game out there is hammering home lone wolfing and the game attributes that allow player survivability in such conditions.
The SAW is a power weapon, FYI. Same with the Needler. Just becasue it doesn’t have a projectile with a big explosion, doesn’t mean it’s not a power weapon and should not wreck other players.
if ordinance is only used as a way to deliver AA’s to the spartans on the battle field everything else just needs to revert back to Halo 1-3’s style also AAs will be spawned on the map but they will be specific to said maps like equipment. Running will probably have to stay its not much of an issue in gamemodes with no insta respawn. I’m working on a gamemode that mimics this What do you guys think ?
