Ok, so, it’s been quite a while since Halo 4 has been announced, about a year now from E3 2011. There are still tons of people on my Xbox friends list who still have no clue about Halo 4 or fail to acknowledge its existence.
So, I searched up Halo 4 via bing on Xbox and came up wit zilch…no official Xbox Dashboard Halo 4 page or anything at all, though if you scroll all all the way to the right, you’ll see a vague icon that says Halo 4 trailer with the logo E3 2011 plastered over it. I mean, the “Halo 4: First Look” or any of the new Halo 4 media content isn’t even on there for curious dashboard users to see. That new Halo 4 theme is nowhere to be found (it’s hidden withing the deep confines of the Halo waypoint app
… ), and those new Red vs. Blue videos aren’t on there either.
Honestly, if 343i and Microsoft want Halo 4 to have the best possible coverage and exposure, they need to update the Xbox Dashboard with little tings like this so people can look at it and learn about Halo 4.
Does anyone else agree about this?
They haven’t started they’re marketing Campaign yet. Just give it a few months and you’ll be seeing plenty of Halo 4 stuff on the dashboard.
hmm, I see what you mean. That’s odd, it’s their biggest exclusive yet it’s like nowhere to be found on the dashboard.

I know, but I feel that the game needs as much exposure it can get and the sooner the better. I mean to say, what’s the harm in uploading the stuff a few months early on the dashboard so people who don’t really turn to the internet for these sort of things can be informed early on. It’s such a small issue and could be remedied without much difficulty on their part.
I am expecting an explosion of stuff to appear on the Xbox Home during/after E3. Reach had little info (I think only the Beta announcement stuff) at this time of year.
Probably after E3, Halo 4 marketing will explode.
Think about this time of year though. People are just finishing up college and school. If they save their advertising money for the summer and fall then they can provide more of a shock of exposure. E3 will be the start of this.
If i still cared about halo, i would say that i wouldnt want it on the dashboard because all the children would see it and find out about halo 4.
But since im pretty much done with it, i dont really care.

Indeed, Black Ops II was announced like 10 months later and releases a week later, yet I see it everyday on the Dashboard. After E3 it will probably be filled with Halo 4 though.
Wasn’t there a thing on the dashboard about Halo 4’s composer being announced?
IT REALLY DOES need more exposing, not many people go on the forums and find the info that calms our nerves and makes us sure this game will be great.we need an ad that just says THIS IS WHAT WE’RE DOING WITH THE GAME WADDUYA THINK…or we could wait till they market it later…
